Calling all adventurers! There will soon be a new area of Adventureland to explore at Disneyland park.

The former Aladdin’s Oasis will soon be transformed to The Tropical Hideaway! This new experience will soon appear along the tropical shores nestled between the Jungle Cruise and “Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.” This one-of-a-kind destination will be a popular rest stop for Adventureland locals and weary explorers alike. Guests will be able to rub elbows with their favorite skippers in an exotic traders’ market, featuring all of the sights, sounds and flavors of the tropics.

Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more information on this exciting new location as more is discovered.

Interesting! Especially how it really didn't reveal very much. I would guess that it'll involve food of some sort, but will it be CS or TS?

Wow! I'm sure the boo hoo crew will find something to complain about but the art looks like quite a transformation. It looks nice and will be a much better use of the space than the current Oasis building.

I'm trying to make out what is being shown in the picture. Are those all new buildings, or is the Tiki Room part of the picture? If so, it's pretty underwhelming as it just looks like a big patio. If it's simply modeled after the Tiki Room, then it might be pretty cool. I still miss the Tahitian Terrace and wish it could be something like that, but I know that's not likely.

It's adjacent to the Tiki Room but it's a separate set of buildings. That area is currently Aladdin's Oasis, which used to be a CS place.

Is it wrong to hope for some nod to the Tahitian Terrace? I know they probably wouldn't make it exactly the same, but just some of the elements would be cool. A Tiki Room theme or even Moana would work, too. Or a blend of the 3. I'm just so excited that that area is going to be utilized again. Some of my favorite childhood memories were eating there as a kid both as the Terrace and as the Oasis.

I am looking forward to this. I have always liked the changes they have done in the past.
