Okay if it weren't for my girls I'd tell my ex to stuff it up his rear. But he calls the next day acting like nothing happened and we were all set to go. Asking what time he needed to be at our house to leave etc.

I know once we get there everything will be fine but I don't think going on a vacation should be this stressful. I packed today just in case and I wish I had done it when the kids were asleep and then hid the suitcases. Now they are asking a bunch of questions and I hope they don't get let down again. I just keep telling them we'll see...

Wish us luck!

I really hope you guys get to go. I was in a similar situation with my ex in 2000 and finally decided to cancel because of all the headache it was causing. On the bright side two years later my new DH and I took both DS's on a suprised Christmas trip. We left in the middle of the night and the kids did not know until they woke up in South Carolina. Then on Christmas eve they were suprised again to have their DGF show up. This more then made up for the horrible Xmas my ex put them and I through. So I will spread some pixie dust and think happy thoughts for you and your kids. :wizard:
