WE leave in FOUR DAYS..and we're driving from WV. Just wondering if any of you know where I can find some Disney facts, trivia, and so on for us to share on the trip down.
I would also like to have a list of the some of the hidden Mickeys.

Thank you!!!

Bobbi

You can get a book with all the hidden mickeys at a book store. I think mine was in the travel section with all the other disney books. Not sure about the trivia. Maybe Toys R us or somewhere like that might have some kind of Disney trivia cards/game??? Good Luck!!! If you find any let us know! Have a great trip!!

Not sure what ages your kids are. Maybe reading some Disney stories to them (I have a big storybook of the Disney stories). Reading instead of seeing the movies is kinda nice. I have a small Hidden Mickey's book that we are going to go over on our way down, plus let him puruse the maps in my passporter (my DS loves maps).
I would go to a good sized bookstore or library and see what they have on the shelves under travel. Plus, I'm sure there are biographies about Disney and his movies...just pick up a couple.
I'm sure once you get further south, the fact that there are palm trees will be fascinating! We do have many of those up here!
I'm flying instead of driving because I'm impatient, and we drive to the midwest every year to see our folks. My son has always been a good traveler. When he was younger, we had a little lap desk that he would use for coloring. Maybe you could print out Disney pictures or find a Disney coloring book or dot-to-dots that they could play? I did searches on Yahoo, and use to find pictures for my son when he was younger.
Hope this helps!

We have a game called Disney - The Wonderful World of Music Game - Can You Guess This Disney Tune? featuring the electronic Melody Maker. My kids like it a lot. Sold where games are sold, cost under $20. I would imagine you could find it at Toys R Us or maybe Walmart. Have fun! :wizard:

I got a book earlier this year from Border's....THE WALT DISNEY WORLD TRIVIA BOOK by Louis A. Mongello. It's 224 pages of "secrets, history & fun facts behind the magic" (according to the cover of the book).

I like it...very interesting. It's set up "quiz style". The quizzes/questions are at the front of each chapter, multiple choice, & the answers are in the back.

Disney A to Z.

Its great. Has facts about pretty much anything that you could think of Disney. Its an encyclopedia.

If you have a dvd player in your car, the Disney version of the game Scene It is really cool.

We leave in 4 days TOO!!!

We have a disney trivia board game and we just take the question cards along with us on car trips. We actually do this with some of our other games too like Friends trivia or trivial pursuit the 80's edition (it is fun for us parents while the kids are doing their own thing!)

Here's a few things I've gathered together over the years here at the DIS. :earsboy:
