The Trip That Almost Wasn't - December '09 (We are BACK!!!! TR to start soon)

Marty the Zebra in Madagascar says crackalackin!

We just watched it the other day.

It's kind of my thing for right now. :rotfl:

So true.

I haven't booked! I'm an idiot. :headache:

Me too! (Assuming there is room left for me when I finally call!)

MEEEE THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UJ says I must book by the 1st so we can make ADR's. Gotta get crackalackin! :thumbsup2

Yes, gotta be able to make those ever important ADR's!!

I'm not so much an idiot anymore.
I got crackalackin right after that post.

:thumbsup2

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: you GO girl!! So excited!!! You gonna do a PTR??

Aww Carla that SUCKS!! I know you'll be able to have a good time anyway though! :flower3:

Thanks Heather. I'm sure we will too. Can't be anywhere near what I experienced when I went to MK during spring break :scared1:

We should be good since they are at all stars and Caribbean Beach

They are performing and competing most of the days. Should only see them at night

No worries :goodvibes

That makes me feel a bit better. Hopefully the evenings won't be crazy though.

So apparently Chris has been doing research on wdwinfo.com (good hubby :goodvibes) and saw this http://www.wdwinfo.com/holidays/candlelight_processional.htm#dine about the Candlelight Processional for this year. So now, I have to change our itinerary and dinner plans one more time. Hopefully our list of resturants won't change any more after this. The change I haven't posted yet is that we were planning on doing two nights of two table service credit dinners (Jiko and Yachtsman Steakhouse) but now that I know the Candlelight Processional will take two TS Credits I will have to nix the Yachtsman Steakhouse and put Le Cellier for the Processional in it's place. Which in turn changes what parks we do which days since we will have to use a park day to be sure to be inside EPCOT for the Processional. I'll be working on that a bit here today when I get down time here at work so once I have it to a way that I am happy with I will share it here. :thumbsup2

ooh cool! I wonder if it will be harder to get into Le Cellier this way? In any case, I hope you get in...good luck!

• Dec 3rd – Drive down & stay with Grandparents

• Dec 4th – Visit w/G-mama & G-papa – Jiko late dinner – 10:30pm DIS meet at POP (2 TS Credits)

• Dec 5th – EPCOT – Electric Umbrella lunch – Le Cellier dinner w/preferred seating for Candlelight Processional & Illuminations (1 CS Credit, 2 TS Credits)

• Dec 6th – Kona Breakfast – ICE Exhibit @ Gaylord Palms Resort – Friendly’s Lunch – Beaches & Cream dinner (2 OOP, 1 TS Credit)
*This lunch selection might change....Dunno if I can handle all that ice cream in one day. Friendly's Sundays + Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream might = disaster for me and Chris' stomachs :scared1::sick:

• Dec 7th – MGM (morning) - CS MGM Lunch - MK (evening) – Kona Dinner (1 CS Credit, 1 TS Credit)

• Dec 8th – Richard Petty Experience – POFQ Lunch – LTT Dinner – MVMCP (1 CS Credit, 1 TS Credit)

• Dec 9th – AK (morning) – CS Lunch @ AK – MGM (evening) – Back lot Express Dinner (2 CS Credits)

• Dec 10th – Kennedy Space Center – Resort Food Court Lunch – Resort Food Court Dinner (2 CS Credits)

• Dec 11th – EPCOT (morning) – CS Lunch – MK (evening) – TS Dinner (but, where???) (1 CS Credit, 1 TS Credit)

I would imagine, for the ppl that aren't reserving Le Cellier for the Candlelight Processional it would be harder for them to get a table since I would assume they set aside a certain amount of tables just for that. I'm just planning on calling at 7:00am sharp on September 5th to book it. And if it's not available, I'll have to try for one of the other restaurants. Maybe Coral Reef :confused3

if my itinerary stays the same, we will both be at MK Monday, the 7th in the evening..Getting my stalking glasses ready :cool2:

I see your reader will be Steve Curtis Chapman. Off to google, as I Forget who he is..lol

So I have some picture updates to do for you all. Yesterday when I got home from work I was surprised in the mail box by this

Disney1-1.jpg

And here's what was inside

Disne2.jpg

Disney3-1.jpg

Basically the Disney mail that states "hi, you've booked a trip to see us. Thanks for your $!" :rotfl:

But literally this is what the first sentence of the letter says (it made me giggle)

"It's great to hear from you again. As someone who visits often, you already know much of the magic that's to be found here." :lmao: You think we go to WDW a lot??? :confused3:lmao:

And in the last couple of weeks I've made some purchases clothing wise for our trip.

I bought two pairs of pants from Victroia's Secret. They're like sweat pants but not really. I figured I could wear them to the parks a couple of days since they are SUPER comfy and will keep me warm if it is cold but not too warm if it gets warmer throughout the day. KWIM?

Here's the pink ones (I also got a navy pair but they are in the wash so I didn't get to take a pic of them)

Then on Monday night after work Chris took me shopping @ Old Navy since I had $100 to blow. I spent less than $75 and got 8 shirts and a pair of slacks.

This is what I plan on wearing to our dinner at Jiko. I know it's not very dressy but it's "business casual" in my opinion. At least it's not jeans. :thumbsup2

Clothes4.jpg

I'll wear this under the pink shirt

With these slacks
Clothes5.jpg

Not sure what shoes yet :confused3

And here's the rest of what I bought (not pictured is a purple top with dark gray tank top that I wore yesterday to work)

So there you have it folks. My purchases so far for this trip. And my Disney Mail. Hope you enjoyed the update. :thumbsup2
