The TRIP of all Trips... Ana's MAW PTR... *TR STARTED* Link- Post #1901 Pg. 127

Oh nice! When you thinking of stopping in?

They have lived to fight another day... I have a good feeling about tomorrow. Then I have no clue what will happen on Saturday. Cliff Lee is human and he has been lights out so far, but every day isn't Christmas. :goodvibes

Not exactly sure on specifics yet, but hopefully sometime between January and March... does that narrow it down for you enough? :rotfl:

I was thinking today was Friday so I just got really confused about your reply... I was about to say, "umm the Yankees are playing tonight, and you call yourself a fan?!" but I'm glad I refrained :rolleyes1

Thursday Dec 2nd

  • Disney Character Photos 8am-8:30 GKTW
  • ADR Chef Mickey's @9:10am

Aw, the pics will be great! And then you go to Chef Mickey's?! Ana will have such a great morning!

Friday December 3rd

  • Pirates & Princess Party @ GKTW 7:30p-8:30p

What is Ana planning on wearing to the P&P party?

Saturday December 4th

  • ADR Kona @8:40
  • MK during the morning
  • DHS
  • ADR Mama Melrose @3:40
  • DHS during the evening to see Osbourn lights

Well you know what I'm going to say about this morning...TONGA TOAST! TONGA TOAST! And yes!! You're eating at Mama Melrose! Check out the hidden Mickey on the dog statue in the check-in area. Also, I love the penne alla vodka!

Sunday December 5th

  • World's biggest Candyland game @ GKTW 7:30-8:30

World's biggest Candyland game?! You are going to have to take lots of pics of this!!!

OMG, I've been off the Dis for a few days and just caught up with Ana's adorable videos. She is too cute for words. :lmao: I'm hoping there will be a 'Yay, we're leaving for the MAW trip dance'. Tell her she needs to start practicing her moves for that. :thumbsup2

Just saw the New and Improved Gift Card Dance. :rotfl: I think it's hilarious that she had to tone it down!!! How fun! Loving all the pixie dust!!!
She does this thing where she screams with a high pitch scream that is deafening. It hurts! If I posted that one I'm sure some of your computer speakers would of got blown out. :rotfl:

I sure hope you hear from MAW soon on all the details. It would be a tad stressful for me to not know those things at just 43 days out and knowing someone else is in control of them, but.........like you said, it is what it is! You'll know all the details soon enough and it will all fall into place!
I keep telling myself 'I'll hear from them any day now'. :wizard:

LOL yes it does! :rotfl:

No problem.... I'm sure that the Sox fans are having a blast watching this series. :surfweb: ;) :goodvibes:goodvibes

I hope we can get to the pictures early.. it takes about 30 minutes to get to Disney from GKTW.

What is Ana planning on wearing to the P&P party?
Not sure... she will probably wear a princess dress. Although, I might be able to talk her into being a pirate. pirate:

I'm sure either Mel or I will get the Tonga... :woohoo: Love it!

Good to know the penne is good. I'm not sure what I want to eat here. :confused3

I don't know what this consists of but it sounds really cool!!! :goodvibes

Oh, I'm sure there will be hundreds if not thousands of pictures! :lmao::lmao:

She has all kinds of dances.. I'm sure there will be more dances to come! We all might be doing a dance the morning we leave! :)

Here's a suggestion for a new dance when in the world....my DD did it in Epcot in 05...we had an early ADR for Akerhaus breakfast before the park opened up, we were walking to the restaurant and she was dancing all the way...when we asked her why she was dancing so much she said " I'm dancing around the world", she was not quiet 5 at the time and the pics I got were so cute!

I know that we are going to have a great time and she will have the time of her life... I guess I am just getting a little stressed not knowing any info about it. I guess MAW does it this way so families don't have to stress with all the plans and info but it is having the opposite effect on me.

You know how people are on the DIS with their planning. While I am not totally like them I do have some of their tendencies. :lmao::lmao:

We are too..... crossing fingers and toes!!!!!! pixiedust:pixiedust:

Some of our tendencies?@?@? Some?

Lol

Yeah...I wish the MAW people would sort of ask...are you a planner or are you a go with the flow person that wants us to plan it all... and let those families that want to help, help!

Your plans look great!

I am talking to Lauren right now about going back over her Spring Break...so I might actually start a pretrip report...if we decide she can go.

Awww that sounds really cute! Your daughter is a smart little girl. ::yes::

I don't think it would be a problem getting Juliana to dance throughout Disney! :goodvibes

LOL I was wondering if that was going to slide by with no one noticing. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

That is a great point to bring up! I wonder if MAW gives you any survey to fill out after the fact, I'd love to add that in.

Your plans look great!
It is hard trying to fit in everything. I really want to spend some time at GKTW... I know Juliana will love it there. :)

Ooooooh how exciting! I hope she is feeling ok.

If you do start one... let me know. I'll be following along!

I can understand your not wanting to be a nuisance with the MAW folks! You can just be a nuisance here on your own pre-trip report instead! I'm totally kidding of course! Maybe if they knew about the disboards than they'd understand the frustration of trying to plan a trip without being in control, right? I can only imagine because I am a complete planner (ok maybe a tad obsessive;)) when it comes to Disney. I even had plans for each day of this past week of our trip we were supposed to be on. So everyday I've been like, 'honey, right now we should be eating at Sci-Fi instead of sitting at home!' or 'right now we should be eating breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table!' Sigh.

I think your game plan sounds great though, you know Juliana best and if GKTW will bring her the most joy, then definitely spend time there.:thumbsup2 I have a feeling she's going to burst with excitement:). I'm really interested in the world's largest Candyland game! That was one of my favorites when I was a girl.:goodvibes

Wow, 43 days!!! Two days ago!!! That came up fast (for me!). :rotfl: It looks like a good plan. So you've decided not to do ANY of US? It was so hard for me to give up FREE tix. :rolleyes1

You've got it right... this is MY thread. I can complain if I want!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

We already felt a little weird with the whole Disney MAW thing. I really just want to be able to relax and go with the flow. I know I've been talking about it a lot recently, but it is 'Crunch Time'! (not to be mistaken with T-shirt time:rotfl2::rotfl2:)(*horrible Jersey Shore reference here*)

There are so many factors that make GKTW so special, one of them is the fact that you CAN'T pay to stay there. It is for Wish kids only. There is a magic at GKTW that I am waiting to experience after reading tons of MAW TRs. One good thing is that once you are a guest at GKTW you are allowed to visit and partake in the activities there after your trip. With having a family connection in the Orlando area, we will be going back down there. :goodvibes

Sorry, Tim. :sad2::sad2::sad2:
I know... what cha going to do. I guess concentrate on the football Giants! I hope the WS is Texas -vs- San Fran. No one will watch it! :lmao:

Believe me.. it is starting to come up fast for us too! :wizard:

We are going to try to hit US for a few hours on the day we fly home. We'll see if we actually make it there. :confused3

Hey. Not ignoring you. At all. Just drowning in too busy of a week/weekend. Will catch up first thing next week! Cheers!

Oh good grief, a Jersey Shore reference! Commence vomiting! I got enough of the "Situation" on Dancing with the Stars!

Of course you can complain, er, I mean talk about whatever you want here! I think that GKTW is one of the greatest things for sick children. You're right, it does seem very magical and I'm sure brings great fun and memories to all the families able to go. It reminds me of something like Willy Wonka where everything is kid friendly. You'd better take lots of pictures too! Something tells me that Juliana will be doing GKTW dances there, not just the gift card ones!

We managed to squeeze in a couple of last minute hours there before we flew home. I just updated my TR (hint hint). ;)
If you only have time for one I would strongly consider US over IOA unless Juliana favors the tamer "kiddie" rides or happens to love Dr Suess. IOA has the Suess Landing which was fun but small. The rest of the park felt pretty grown up as far as rides went. US had more "mid" grade rides, meaning the whole family actually enjoyed.

ORRRRR you could cheer on the Sox... if you just did that you'd be over your pain by now...

AND PS: Connecticut = New England = New England Patriots, NOT Giants!

.....I just like razzing you Tim, I don't even watch football :rotfl2: But I hope as Juliana grows up you give her the option between the Sox and Yankees... let her decide on her own (little girls look much cuter in Red Sox gear....) ;)

Hey Tim! I'm sosososo behind like months behind but I'm going to keep up from now, promise :thumbsup2 lol

You're getting close! I'm so envious you'll be at WDW for the holidays. I keep thinking of my trip from last year. So amazing!

My only concern with R&C is that you have it as a lunch after a character breakfast and that just sounds like 2 big meals too close together, for me.

I confess...I don't mind Beverly! :lmao: I found 1900 easy to get for dinner, not sure if you are trying for breakfast but the dinner ressie wasn't too hard. Then again, I wasn't going during the holidays!

How exciting that it's so close!
