The movie was just okay, the book was quite good. Of course I almost always think the book is better than the movie, unless I see the movie first.

While I disliked the movie my DH really hated it. He said it had a lot of potential but the directors did a terrible job

My thoughts exactly. I really enjoyed the book. I read it in record time. The movie was ok. Don't watch it if you are really looking for a "time traveling" story. It is more a romance.

I read the book first and loved it, and was disappointed in the movie. DH didn't read the book and was actually quite emotionally affected by the movie, to which I was a little

Just a warning, since PG hormones can sometimes make emotional things pretty intense. (at least they did for me!)

I loved the book, its actually my all time favorite, and i loved the movie but its is so emotional. I watched it the other night and I cried so much and so hard I gave myself a migraine, and I'm not hormonal at all.
Its definitely worth watching, but know you will most likey cry your heart out.

The book was really good, and it was easy to keep my nose in it. We got the movie (from netflix) it was in our massive cue, and randomly showed up at our house about a week or two after I read the book. The movie was OK. The book was excellent! Glad I read the book first, because based on the movie, if I saw it first, I wouldn't have bothered iwth the book!
