I agree:) I was laughing out loud the whole time I was reading them and waited not very patiently for each installment. Believe me, they are hilarious. Anyone who has not yet read these trip reports doesn't know what they are missing.
Thank you so much to Steve for writing them and to wovenwonder for making them so accessible. :D

Hi,

This message is for wovenwonder.

I haven't read Steve's report yet , I'm looking forward to it.

I saw your reply regarding the $50 credit. I asked my TA at
AAA and she was not aware of it. When she called Disney to
complete my reservations they didn't know anything about
it. I asked for the $50 credit for first time cruisers using REF as the
code.

Did I leave anything out?

Thanks for your help.

The credit was originally meant to be used with the post card that you would have received from someone who has cruised DCL before. They would be referring you to DCL and you in turn would get a credit when you booked your first cruise. Plus you could mail in the post card to receive the cruise promotional video. The code on the postcard was REF and it was all that you needed to receive the credit. You never had to mail in the postcard -- just give the code to DCL or your TA. I would try again -- maybe call DCL yourself and tell them that you were referred by someone that had cruised before and were told about this first time cruiser credit. They could have changed their policy recently -- and if they did - I apologize for giving out misinformation. At the top of these boards is a thread for postcard requests. People that get new postcards sometimes look for someone to pass them along to on that thread.

Good luck -- and let me know how you make out!
:p
