Hello Everyone!

I will be attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center at the beginning of November, so I guess I am just going to have to plan another trip to Disneyland! ( Oh, darn ) This puts me going the first week in November, which is right between Halloween coming down and Christmas going up which I'm perfectly fine with me, but I had a couple questions as I go through the planning process:
  • Are the crowds any smaller between seasonal evets?
  • Do they still have any seasonal items at the restaurants, or is it all just regular menu?
  • Anything else I should take into account during this time?
Thanks for your help!

My guess, (And it’s just a guess), is that it’s probably a perfect time fora casual day at the parks. Nothing going on on…Halloween hoopla over, Christmas not yet begun. I’m sure some locals will chime in to let you know but if I wasn’t so wedded to Christmas, ithink this is when I would go for my autumn trip. You’ll miss Veterans Day which might havea larger crowd if school is out and like I said, I don’t think there is any big opening. Sounds perfect to me!

That castle picture is from October 26??? They didn’t even wait until after Halloween???? That’s awful…

So much for that “we do it all overnight” documentary…although that is WDW…I still don’t think that’s relevant these days…maybe once upon a time…

I’m just never there in the fall as I hate Halloween and everything about it. As long as my castle is ready by December, that’s good enough for me! The big tree always takes my breath away when I first walk in the park…puts me right in the mood!

Hey there! I am going the same time! We will be there for Fall Dapper days (still trying to convince DH to dress up, ugh... 🤣). So just be aware that there may be a slight uptick in guests on Sunday, 11/3, if that will be one of your park days. A lot of the snazzed up Dapper Day folks will be at DL, but DCA also gets a fair amount since the old Hollywood vibe is great for pics!

I have been during this time of year before and the crowds typically feel about moderately crowded, nothing crazy. I suspect Tinkaboo is correct in her assumption that a lot of people will be waiting for the Holidays. I think this will be especially true since Tiana's opens on the start of the holiday season as well (Nov 15).

Fingers crossed that we can get lower crowds and a little taste of the holidays!

It will certainly be interesting watching the park shift holidays. This really is a bonus trip, because I just went with my family in May, so I'm not too worried about what I can and cannot do other than making sure I catch the Haunted Mansion Holiday!

Dapper Day sounds fun. I'll have to see if I have anything that might travel well!
