and since it's the new day already...I'll post the answer here to the highly controversial and muchly debated riddle of yesterday.



the answer is:


ONE pound of gold coins ($10 denominations) is worth more than ONE HALF pound of gold coins ($20 denominations) BECAUSE


one pound of gold is worth more than 1/2 pound of gold.

Everyone who got hung up on this riddle was confused by the denominations, and the ASSumption that the denomination would have a bearing on the weight of the coin.


But, bottom line is that one pound weighs more than 1/2 pound, and therefore the $10 coins have more value.
