Thursday 10th February 11
Well here we are on our last day.We got up and finished off the last of our packing and left the bags into the baggage room.We decided not to have breakfast this morning as we were having an early lunch in The Blue Lagoon and we didn't want to spoil our appetites.
We headed first to the Studios hoping to get our first and last chance to ride Crush as it had had technical problems the last day we were in the Studios. The queue for Crush was already 55 mins
we simply couldn't waste 55 mins queueing so Mac and Me decided we would have a final ride on our new favourite ride RC Racer
And we all had a quick ride on Cars
Before we left we got the obligatatory picture taken with Walt and Mickey
We then went over to Disneyland Park and walked under the station for the final time
For the first time ever we got to travel down Main Street on the double decker bus
It gives you a great view of all the theming of the upstairs of the building ....things that you would never notice walking down the street and a good view of the castle stage
We also noticed that more scaffolding had gone up around the Castle since yesterday
We picked up FP for BTM and then headed off to POTC for our final ride
We rushed back to BTM in time for our FP time for a whoop, yehaw, runaway train.
Back to the Blue Lagoon for our fantantic lunch Review here
After we came out of the Blue Lagoon after lunch it was raining. The first rain we had seen on our trip.We couldn't believe what great weather we had had on this trip compared with our -15 temperatures of our January 09 trip.Disney had certainly worked its magic on the weather for us.
We took a stroll around our favourtite land Adventureland and took a few final piccies
We picked up our final FP for BTM and took a walk through Frontierland for a few final piccies and a few bits of last minute shopping.
Then it was time for the final ride in DLP and of course it was our favourite BTM.We boarded our train for train for our 12th ride of the holidays and enjoyed it like it was the first.
Then unfortunately it was that dreaded time to leave, walking up Main Street and looking at the Castle for the last time.My big son Mac said "Mum I think I'm going to cry" I gave him a huge cuddle and said "I know son, me too but some day we will be back"
Back to The Cheyenne to pick up our bags and wait for EZYshuttle to take us to CDG.They arrived bang on 3.20pm
Happy faces all around
Soon we were back in Belfast and the months of planning and excitment were over.
And now to add to it all my trip report is over too
.I hope you have enjoyed reading it I certainly have enjoyed writing it
