I am such a dull person... I literally look forward to hanging out at home tomorrow and getting some straightening up done around the house.

I am also looking forward to watching the season finale of Virgin River tonight

I‘m looking forward to us taking DD18 to downtown Chicago on Sunday for her annual birthday Chicago dinner. We’ve been doing this for many many years. Technically her birthday is after she goes to school towards the end of August, so we need to do this early this year. Pretty soon she’ll be DD19.

Long weekend! So in our province that means heading out to the lake and cottage country!

Long weekend here and the hottest part of summer. Houseguests are arriving and we’re taking them to Banff for the day on Saturday and a rodeo on Sunday. Love them and all these activities - it should be wonderful!

I don't have anything planned for this weekend except for beginning to pack for my trip to Hilton Head Island next week! I am so excited - my family and I are staying at the Disney resort and are driving down next saturday.

I look forward to not logging onto my laptop or switching on my work phone at 8am. I look forward to going for an early morning run without loads of cars on the road. I look forward to seeing friends and family. Roll on retirement, 12 years and counting!
