No, no meat for me! I went to Disney for seven days back in July---I know, I know---but most of the menus haven't changed, and I've been enjoying other vegetarian reviews so I thought I better get on it and post mine! The couple of meat entrees are from my dad, who joined me for three and a half days, so hopefully that will help some of the mixed eating habit groups ;)

I am a lacto-ovo vegetarian. I am not vegan but eggs (that aren't in something sweet or a very veggie-filled quiche) make me gag. I'll try to remember to included whether or not things were vegan or could be made vegan, but it's been a little while and if it wasn't volunteered, I didn't ask. I am, however, truly lacto-ovo veg. I don't overlook stock, broth, gelatin, lard, etc., and if I'm not sure, I ask. This wasn't so necessary this trip as I had either had most of it before or one of the wonderful fellow vegetarians on here already did (thanks!).

Here is what you can expect:
Le Cellier late lunch
Main Street Bakery breakfast
Tusker House breakfast
Random DHS counterservice (no pictures of this one)
Sunshine Seasons breakfast
50's Primetime lunch
Chefs de France dinner
Crystal Palace breakfast
Assorted Epcot munching

I had planned a CP breakfast, an R&C dinner, and a Boma breakfast, and I'd planned to snack around the World Showcase, but I got a cold the third day and couldn't manage all that I'd planned :guilty: I guess I'll just have to go back next year :thumbsup2

We each arrived at MCO in the late morning and met up with each other and our Tiffany Towncar driver at baggage claim. We made a stop at Publix to pick up water and snacks for the hotel and were checked in to the Swan by probably 12:30? I don't remember.
Here are some shots of my room (we were both upgraded; I presume my dad's looked the same) and some of my Publix loot:

LOVED the insulated ice bucket. I could fill it at night and still have ice in the morning:

Tons of water (which was a lifesaver when I got sick!) and some potato chips (to replenish my salt, you know):

I'm going to post now to see if my photos worked!

So we checked in, settled in, freshened up, and put on sunscreen. Then we started hoofing it over to Epcot, all by 1:30 or so. Our LC reservation was for 2:30 or 2:40 (I don't remember anymore and I'm not looking at my notes right now).

I cannot tell you how nice it was to walk to Epcot... even though we went the long way this time by accident (past the BC/YC instead of Boardwalk). Going in the back entrance was also awesome! So we got in to Epcot and my dad needed to get something from the gift shop, then we hiked halfway to Soarin' and I planted Dad on a bench and scurried over to get us FPs (which we ended up too tired to use :sad2:).

We headed back to WS to check out Canada in preparation for our meal. We checked in probably 5 or 10 minutes early and were seated right about at our reservation time or a little early.

We were seated along one of the walls next to a very nice mother/daughter combo, who gave my dad food recommendations. Service was great as usual, but I can no longer remember our server's name (I'm sure I have it written down). My dad is not so Disney-saavy and asked if she was really from Canada  and did enjoy that everyone in the WS is an "import."

ANYWAY...my dad took the recommendations of the ladies next to us, since I have no experience with the non-veg. items. He started with the famous Cheddar Cheese Soup (wish it were vegetarian, I'd love to sample!):

I have such trouble with pictures at LC, it's so dark. He said the soup was good, but he was a little perplexed by the picture taking and wasn't terribly descriptive...so "good" is all you get for most of his food ;)

Of course there were the breadsticks:

This is the multigrain (my favorite). Apparently I forget to photograph the rest. I do now remember that my dad did say that he didn't like the pretzel bread WITH the soup, as the ladies next to us had recommended. I think he said it made it too salty and both were better separate.

My dad got the famous mushroom filet:

He said it was good. He ate it pretty fast, so it couldn't have been bad! Maybe it's because I'm a vegetarian, but it looked like a really tiny serving to me.

And here's the potato gnocchi with roasted eggplant and grape tomatoes:

It was okay. I mean, it was good by normal standards, but by Le Cellier standards, it was only okay. It was not super flavorful, and the individual flavors of each component didn't really blend. They didn't clash, either, but it tasted like a bunch of separate ingredients. It was fine, but at $20, I don't need to have it again and won't be going back until they change it again...in contrast to the stuffed peppers of '07, when I was trying to get a decent rate and go back the next month JUST for the peppers

Here's the menu (a little backwards here):

The gnocchi was very plentiful, however: I couldn't finish it and we skipped dessert. BTW, I am pretty sure without the cheese it's vegan, but double check (because I did not)...but you're probably better off just spending the money elsewhere.

Great reviews - thanks for sharing and look forward to hearing more :thumbsup2

I'm in! My daughters and I are pescetarian but mostly eat veggie, so I'm excited to see what you had!
