The SuperFamily vs. Silverware, Felons and The Little Mermaid!updated 1/27/14

Today was THE day..the day we were going to have a "playdate" in MK!! I was so very very excited. I met a mom online back in 2006..we are both homeschooling moms..been friends online and via text ever since. She lives outside of Orlando and her family just happens to have resident season passes..and this was the day her and her 3 boys were meeting us in MK!!

I'm going to pre-warn you..this day is FULL of pictures..

We bounded out of bed around 7:15 and were at the North Depot for 8am. Today was Ziah's birthday ( yep..it is.really......) and while we got pins when we checked in the CM who did the kids names had bad handwriting ( no I'm not judging..mine is worse than chicken scratch) so we wanted to get a new pin that was readable..lol

We headed in and over to Guest Relations..

New button acquired from a CM that is from about 45 minutes west of us..whoot whoot..and we are off..

Oh YEAH..look what has shown up.. the crane...yucky...oh well..at least we had gotten a few crane free pictures before today!

We headed over to tomorrowland and rode Buzz then the People Mover.. then Taejan decided he wanted to try Astro Orbiter ...and the line was relatively short..so off they went!

Ziah and I hung out while the boys went..

The place was fairly dead...

The boys loved it.. well except for the hubby...he doesnt do well on spinning rides and my goodness he should take dramamine...but he wont!

We were hungry..and when we get hungry we get moody..so we heading over to Gaston's for a snack..

I can NOT WAIT until Sept 2014 to ride this ride!!

We got a variety of danish and refueled!

I got the text from my friend Tisha that they were here!! SO off we went to meet up!

Taejan got all excited when he saw this girl..until he realized it was NOT his Bridget..whaaa

So.. who besides us travels 1289 miles for a playdate???

I was so excited to finally see Tisha and her boys in person... and the kids were instant friends!!

We rode Barnstormer first together..Taejan was thrilled..then we decided it was Splash Mountain time! off we go!

Declan in there..second row..you can almost see his shirt.. the kids LOVES to duck for this picture.. something that will haunt him VERY soon!

Taejan was VERY fond of making the "I'm gonna blow junks" face for every.single.picture.shoot.me!

At this point Declan had talked Eathan's ear off about Sorcerer missions so we went to get cards..WELL this would be the day..half way through our trip when they changed the "rules"..no cards until you open your game up..you dont have to play but you have to open the portal.. awesome @@..so Declan ran and opened his portal then we came back..

We headed off to ride Pirates.. where someone collapsed in line.. more EMT's..again we saw this way too often this trip!! Hydrate people..its Florida..in the Summer!

By now it was time for food..so we ate at The Starlight Cafe..I felt terrible because we had all this hot food and Tisha had packed lunch... major friend guilt with that one...so to fix that we used some snack credits and got all 6 kids fruity drinks at the Chesire Cat... now I felt better!!

I am loving your report! Great updates and super fun pics. I just love how animated your kiddos are throughout your report. What a great experience to meet up at MK and connect with friends. Hmm-we are now intrigued about the Sorcerers game, going to have to look into that for sure! Looking forward to reading the rest of the report.

I was caught unaware about the enforcement of the "playing at least one portal" rule too! I did a lot of extra walking one day in MK because I didn't know.

But as a sidenote, I got a HM card! The one they gave out at MNSSHP! The person at SOTMK gave me one when she gave me the MVMCP card! I was so excited!

So after the nice smoothie things from Cheshire Cat we headed over to ride the People mover..with a small stop first...

there was a PP+ photographer so we let him go to town and got a bunch of great shots!!

I'll save ya from all of them..lol

So now we hop on The TTA.. and somehow we ended up on different "trains"..lol

Garrett was so thrilled..

Somehow the 6 kids managed to get me to take them ALL on the Tea Cups.. Caleb is too little to ride alone or even with the older kids ( although he tried..lol) so I ended up on there..I HATE the tea cups!!

I swear that's us.. right side I'm in the purple with a few kids.. Declan and Eathan and whomever are in the yellow. I managed to NOT up chuck ..it was close though!!

Next it was time for our Buzz fast passes.. I love that we had PP+ so I have these ride pictures!!!

Ziah and Garrett..oh Garrett maxed out his score.. he was SOOO excited! Declan got him a "Galactic Hero" button at the end of the ride!! Of course no one else maxed out so this was a double edged sword..lol

And now our playdate was to be over .. we had dinner ressies in Epcot... so we all got on the monorail and parted ways at the TTS... it was sad..very sad!

I hated saying Goodbye.. the kids ( and Tisha and I of course) all got along so well. You never know how things will go when you've only known someone online.. well I can say happily it was like we had always been in real life friends..not just cyber friends..whoot whoot

So we said goodbye to our friends at TTS.. we switched to the Epcot monorail.. on the monorail I did a quick switch around of our fast passes... we got to Epcot..thru security and we hopped on Space Ship Earth.. then off to get some free drinks at Club cool... then simply because we hadn't ridden it yet we hopped on Imagination..god this ride is so corny...

I do love this picture though..

Now it was time for our ADR's at The Garden Grill... we had a GREAT waiter and great character interaction..as I've stated before when you don't do autographs sometimes the characters don't really know what to..but yet again we got some that really made the time fun!

Yep..he stole Ziah's hat!

She got it back so he went after Declan's..

Sorry for taejans lack of ability to close his mouth.. he was eating so that's even better. See Taejan found his appetite in Disney.. he had really not been eating much the few months before this and had gotten skinny ( because he NEVER stops moving he was burning more than he was taking in)..well in Disney he pretty much never stopped eating.. even if characters were around..

I warned you all I had a LOT from this day..most from The Garden Grill... not only was the food yummy..but the characters were amazing!

It was so nice having a lower table this time.. way more room for the characters...

After we ate we headed for the Land... we needed to digest properly..

Then we did a first.. The Circle of Life..a fable.. it was ok.. something we had never done..so that was good.

Now it was time for our Soarin' fast passes..love this ride

off to Innoventions

We played the piggy bank game..again... Declan has never won because he's never been on MY team and I always win ..so he and I kicked Eric and the other 2 kids butts!! Then it was off to test track..can't say enough how much we prefer this version!

gotta love my hair in my face so me fixing it is in the picture..oh well..at least I didnt drop the silverware right?

Then we got a few pictures and exited

Back to the room

We went and watched some of the outdoor movie..and as we came back to the room to crash there were frogs..EVERYWHERE>.. creepy

We decided to hit Typhoon Lagoon the next day so I switched some days around in my plans and MDE and we crashed!
