The Sunshine Flyer to Launch Themed Airport Transportation to Disney World

@Disneytrippin' I believe that is true. You would book 5-6
Thanks. After reading the FAQ they say they monitor the flight and adjust accordingly. I sure hope so! I mean, how many flights arrive on time at MCO. I am pretty excited about hearing others experiences. I have not heard good things so far about Mears Connect. When I heard about ME discontinuing service I panicked. This trip I have 9 people. How do I do that with all that luggage and a town car rental. Haha.

Wondering how successful these services can be when you can get an Uber XL for $50 to a resort and no worries about multiple stops.

$90 as a worst case is not bad for a direct to hotel, no waiting, and same luggage service (none). For a family of 4 that is about $30ish more for a private car.

As a solo traveler I'd rather not spend so much for an uber or a towncar. The bus is cheaper for some, not all.

Maybe for some people but for us we are 9 people with all our luggage and a double stroller.

We're 2 people with luggage and a wheelchair. Uber will almost never be cheaper for us because we have to get an XL, plus surge pricing which has gone through the roof since DME ended (according to the articles I saw last week anyway), plus percentage tips rather than per-bag. As long as buses stay at/near what they currently are (<$20 each one-way) it will still be cheaper (and easier) for us to take the bus, even with additional stops. Though honestly, we come from the West Coast so always come either really early in the morning when no parks are open yet and our rooms won't be ready for hours, or in the evening when our only plans are to grab some dinner, settle in, and go to bed, so the extra 10-20 minutes to stop at additional resorts has never bugged me.

Let’s All get Excited that … transportation to Disney that Used to be FREE ( obv within ur total resort cost) is now Offered at a COST but offers Even Less Service ( luggage pull, limited Access )
Yes, thx disney… not We ve gotten used to being nickel and dimed, fed crumbs, so it’s the ..New Normal.
lightening lanes, resort parking… the list is long and will continue

Mears has the ability to use vans and even taxis for late flights.

Sunshine will have figure out how to handle flights delayed past 10p.
I looked into it and it doesn’t seem to start until 7am. Well that won’t work for a flight to Canada at 8:10 am! It needs to run 24 hrs a day for it to work. Early flights go out and late flights come into MCO. :(
Guess it’s Meers for us.
