I'm thinking of booking a reservation for The Steak House inside the Village, during a trip in late November. My original choice the Silver Spur is apparently closed during this time for a refurbishment, so I'm thinking of trying here instead. Has anyone tried this Restaurant before and whats it like?

Awesome choice, my 2nd fav at DLP after the California Grill. Check out the reviews on this board. I think it is as good if not better than many of the places in WDW and DL! Go for it!

I love the Silver Spur and it's great value, but the food is even better quality at the Steakhouse. And if you time it right, they have a live pianist.

We ate here last week and it was amazing!! There's a review on the 'The Steakhouse Reviews' thread (Found in the restaurant review sticky)... We loved the food. It was a bit more expensive than The Silver Spur, but we really loved it!! Well worth the money!

Hey cool I did not realise this thread existed, thanks to both Dave and Bolanette87 for pointing it out. Looks great but I did have some doubts after reading the reviews on the Dlrpmagic.com/review site. I may have to give this place a try, I have to say the standards look high.

Malin, I would put this on par with Le Cellier and the Yachtsman Steakhouse in WDW or Steakhouse 55 at DL, in a heartbeat. I think the other issue is a number of Brits like their meat like charcoal. Here in the UK I have mine medium rare, so medium in France is perfect to me. I think that makes it drop points for some.

Hi when are you at Disney in Nov? Just were there 30th Nov - 3rd Dec and didnt know the Silver Spur was closed, did the cm tell you the closure dates?

I'm at the Resort from the 27th of Nov to the 1st of Dec and I've been told by the Castmember it will be closed during this time, I'm sorry to report.

we did the brunch on sunday just past and were very impressed. food was excellent and had a glass of bubbly on going in and then unlimited soft drinks and wine. there were lots of characters and a lady making balloon things for the kids and also a pianist playing. im not a lover of steak but the others in our party are and they all raved abot food said it was best meal they had. we used half board plus vouchers and had to pay 10 euro extra per adult, no extra for child and infants were free as it was buffet
