...actually really good. I wasn't a fan of the National Treasure flicks, nor do I care much for Nicolas Cage, but I must say that I really enjoyed this flick.

I'm a huge movie buff and by no means a prude when it comes to cinema, but The Sorcerer's Apprentice really conjured up this sense of 80s fantasy-flick nostalgia for me. A big budget fantasy action flick with no language, sex, or graphic violence -- something we don't often see in action flicks today.

Yes, it may be a bit frightening for those under the age of 8, but this was quite the fun flick.

It's a New Year's Resolution that's slow-going, but I'm enjoying quite a bit).

I am so glad to hear that! We are hesitate to take DK's to see noncartoon movies unless we know enough about them first. We saw a preview for this before TS3 and DS9 especially thought it looked really cool. Thanks! :thumbsup2

We'll wait for Bluray, but hope it is good.

How was it with throwbacks to Fantasia?

Good. I think it looks really good. But you never know with ads.

I can't wait to see it. I'm a huge Nick Cage fan! Absolutely love the National Treasure films.

Apparently, Cage is a huge Fantasia fan and was a driving force behind getting this done. We, DW & I, are fans of the NT movies, so this one is definitely interesting to us. Glad to hear it wasn't bad.

Thanks for your review! We are looking forward to going on a family outing to see this movie.

I only noticed the Sorcerer's Apprentice mopping scene (which is shown in the trailers) which is done quite well. I actually didn't think to look for references to the entirety of Fantasia.
