I just returned from Disney and on change that I noticed was on Soarin. When we were there in August 2005 the evergreen and orange smells were fainter and more realistic. This time we were blasted with a very strong smell.

I think I prefer the fainter smell because I thought "Did I really smell that?"

Did anyone else notice a difference?

Maybe you got a double dose by accident. I also rode in Aug. 2005 and this August and I didn't notice a difference. One of the times I rode this year, though, the scents weren't working at all. It's just not the same without the scents, although I love Soarin' any way I can get it!

Were you in a different row or side? We've noticed it to be faint or strong, get off, get back in line and sit somewhere else and the smell is not the same. Maybe that's what it was? Just a guess. We'll check it out next month!

I've noticed this as well. I sat in the front row, left ride vehicle and it was pretty strong... sat in the second row, center ride vehicle, smell almost non-existent.

I rode it three times when I was there in September and noticed a difference in the strength of the smell each time. I sat in different locatiosn each time also. Probably has something to do with location of your seat.
