The so-so trip..March madness is at WDW *Updated 7/27* Final thoughts

I love Chefs de France, you got two of my favorites, but that beef Vinny ordered looked really good too! So sad that there's only four more updates left. I rely on other people's TRs to get me through until my next trip!

OMG, that Lobster Bisque is about the best thing on earth, I do believe! I still dream about that soup from our 2010 trip. I'm a HUGE fan.

But tell me- are escargot really worth trying? I want to try them, but I don't want to get a regular order only to get one and not like it…. :worried: My husband wouldn't even attempt them. He has come a LONG way since we first started dating (When he thought ketchup was spicy and judged ALL seafood because he didn't like salmon patties as kid.)

Awesome pic of Japan. I love how you got both buildings in the same shot it's really pretty!

I am eating at Chefs in December !! Haven't been there in a while !! I think we are doing lunch, I LOVE French Onion soup, and there macaroni and cheese is delish !! I usually get creme brulee or the apple crepe for dessert both are excellent.

Great pix of the world !! I am not a huge fan of Test Track but I will do it unlike any rollercoaster or ToT !!:scared1:

Chef's de France-wow, great food pics. We ate there once. We spent the day in Epcot in the rain and went back to our room to rest and get out of wet clothes. Our ADR was at 7:00 and we dressed up. The restaurant was packed and we were asked if we wanted to go upstairs and eat. (We said no, unless they wanted to give me a $100 gift card to pay for half of our meal.) I really wanted to see Remy. We were so squished were we sat, I think one person would not have been comfortable. Everyone in the room, was wet tired from the day and people were looking in the windows the whole time too. I think they were wondering if they could come in there and get out of the cold. The temps dropped down to 50. The night ended up being beautiful and we walked out of the Chef's and watched Illuminations. No one was there that evening and we had a really great spot to watch the show.

My dh loved TT.
It was one of those times were I thought he would hate TT.
He didn't like the old TT, but loved the new one.
Go figure right?

Those cars topiaries are so cute.
I agree. I thought they were adorable.

:lmao: I do have the planning trip going on. Not the same but hopefully it will help me. :rotfl2:

It is very good.
I love Escargot. I tried it for the first time down there and fell in love. Since then I have it all over and in Paris. I would definitely give it a try. If you don't like at least you tried it. I don't worry about the wasting because then I would never try anything.
He might not like it. :rotfl2: You have to like butter and garlic. it is strong in both.

Thanks

I have had the crepe and it was very good. Not a fan on onion soup (which is strange cause I like onions) but Vinny loves it.

Definitely scared after this weeks news of that person in Texas. :scared1:

That sounds bad but I have had window seats and no one ever looked in. Thank god.
I like the ride part of TT now after watching my video BUT i despise the queue.
As long as he enjoyed it that is all that matters. :rotfl2:

Love your report...esp all the reviews on meals. Maybe we will see you there in Dec.
Thank you.
I hope we do see each other.

We are eating at Lee Chefs for the first time in Dec. There are so many different rest. At Disney and we try to find new ones each trip but some in the family insist on old favs. I love the variety they offer. Since we live in rural Vermont we do not have a lot of options like you New Yorkers!

Oh Les Chef's! I adore that place, you have me wanting to fit it into my trip!

Nice update, Scott. We went to Chefs for lunch for the first time on Mark's surprise birthday trip in December and we have it booked again for next month...we fell in love with it.

Your nighttime pictures at Epcot in each country are beautiful.

I loved those Cars topiaries.

They do have a great variety. We definitely go back to faves and also try new ones. We hardly ever venture into the city. Just don't find it exciting anymore. Too congested.

I think you should. :lmao: tel them Scott sent you. LOL. They will ask. who?

Those were my favorites.

Continuing where I left off we were looking at the Cars area for Flower & Garden.

They had this display.

Bigger

I think Vinny stayed outside of this area. I think I looked around alone. Then I came to more areas of flowers and lights.

This was a cute little area.

With flash.

Then we headed out. Dangerous place for any wallet. LOL

The fountain that will be in my backyard when I win the lottery.

Goodnight Spaceship Earth.

Then we were back at POP. Of course I took pics of the signs lit up, but not many.

Almost to the room.

Now when we got back I went down to laundry and I hate when people leave their laundry and go away and take forever to come back. I took theirs out of the machines and did ours. Vinny came down to see me and it took a long time. I did go for a walk. Stopped to use the restroom next to the laundry room. Now there were 2 workers in the laundry room. I went outside to wait for the laundry and then 10 minutes later went in and it still wasn’t dry. I was transferring to another dryer when they left and I heard the men’s room door open. As I was sitting there transferring the laundry (less than 2 minutes) let’s say he was very vocal and I could here everything through the air vent. I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to wet myself and I didn’t want to walk in there. I then went outside and sat down and 2 minutes later he came out and walked towards the main building and a few minutes later she came out and continued cleaning. I couldn’t tell her I could hear her as she spoke no English. I had tears from it all I laughed so hard. Finally I got the laundry done, folded and put upstairs and I then walked around the resort and sat at the pool. The pic below was taken at 3am. I wasn’t alone there as a couple of women were sitting by the pool having drinks.
The year I was born.

Then I went to bed. Interesting way to end the vacation.

Next up,

Our last day starts
