The so-so trip..March madness is at WDW *Updated 7/27* Final thoughts

We rested a little at the resort and then we were back on the bus. First we had to wait to get one.


Looking at the resort from the bus stop.


A Magical Express bus was leaving. Bye bye.


Here is our destination. Yep we are going back.


We decided to walk through this.


They had a few tents with a mirror that stretches you and a photopass photographer was there too.


Some fake flowers but I liked them.


I guess it was chilly already being Vinny has his coat on.

The restaurant inside was.


This was our first time here. We were seated almost all the way in the back of the building but it was a great room. There were 2 stations and all the seats were taken. We were taken in after everyone else and got the last 2 seats. I thought they were all a family but it turns out the 3 on the end across from us were not but everyone else.


Here are my drink choices. Iced Green Tea and some kind of tini. I do not have our receipt so I am no sure.


We both had a soup before the meal. Miso soup. No picture of that but it was very good.

Here are the 3 sauces they give you depending on what you ordered.

Then it was back to cooking for us.

Here is the noodle dish as he was finishing it. This was so good too.


I think he cleaned it here. Not sure.


I had the steak & shrimp. OH MY GOD THIS WAS SO GOOD.


The shrimp were delicious and the steak was cooked perfectly. I hate mushrooms and they give you a lot with the meal and I actually ate them all.

Vinny had the scallops and he liked it but when he tried mine he regretted not getting it.

Then for dessert we both had the green tea cheesecake. It was interesting. Really tasted like cheesecake more than green tea.


This place was amazing. So much fun to watch them cook it right there and the food was so good. We will be definitely going back in December.

Time to stop again.

I ate at Teppan Edo on the 2011 trip and we really enjoyed it! 3 of the strangers at our table became instant friends with us! They asked where we were from, I said near Savannah, she said they already had the plan to stop there for lunch at one our best Mexican places on their drive home! I told her good pick!

i'm having major disney withdrawals today and I was so hoping someone would post an update YAY SCOTT for coming through for me today!!!! If we were in wreck it ralph u would definately get a medal.

It wasn't too bad where we were. I can see it being noisy in the bigger rooms.

Side note –
Have you ever noticed if you have an android phone it is nearly impossible to get a phone case for your phone? I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and really they do not make it for them. The previous trip I had looked around for it and could not find it so I decided to look on this trip.

I've noticed that too. I have the same phone, and they only have two phone cases available. I wanted something a little snazzier, but then I have this giant extended battery for my phone, it came with a special case, so I don't even think the standard ones would fit my phone.

Usually they have a mickey head here but this time they had “Epcot” spelled out.

your food pics make me want to eat at out local one, we have one that has sat lunch specials under 10 bucks and actually gives you enough food to eat there and take home some for the next day.

Ok...jumping on board so I can follow along!!

We ate at Teppan Edo for the first time too our last trip and now it's added to our faves list! I had the steak and shrimp and DH had the steak and chicken (then we shared the chicken and shrimp as that is how we roll).

You're right, the mushrooms were delicious!!!

Your pics are FAB!!! Do you use your Samsung phone to take them or do you use an official camera?

I totally get that whole "yo, this is my space, this is your space thing" I have told adults and kids alike "EXCUSE me" and basically elbowed them out of the way. (only in a nice, mind your own business kind of way) LOL...

We have yet to eat in the QS in Morocco, but we always try to hit Restaurant Marakkesh (it's one of our traditions to try to eat there our first night of a trip).

Can't wait to read (and see!) more! Great job so far!

Glad you had a great meal at Teppan Edo! We love it there. DH & I tried it in 2011 & then when we had the boys with us last year we did it again.
