The Smith's "Yes We Are Pulling DD Out of School Twice This Year" PTR!

:welcome: on over and thank you!

What are you thinking about making for your DD?

Sorry I have not posted sooner, just catching up on DIS after a crazy week. I posted the first thing I made on my PTR--a reversible bubble skirt that is black and red w/ white polka dots. I am pretty happy with the way it turned out. The other two things I have planned and bought the stuff for: 1) an Ariel shirred dress and 2) a skirt to go with her birthday top I will make also. I want to do more, but I think I am going to run out of time. :faint:

Ouch! They would not wave the fee after the confusion? :confused3: I sure hope you got it all worked out (without having to spend the extra money--I would cringe too).

I want to read the Kingdom Keepers series before we go but I have not had a chance yet. I hope to this summer (amongst all my school stuff! :lmao:)

I am still here--just got delayed with life! I know, I know how dare life get in the way of DISing :rotfl:

Wow--I cannot believe how quickly your trip is coming up. I am looking forward to the day I can say weeks, instead of months! Though, I have so much left I want to do for it, so maybe not.

Sounds like a great afternoon--I hope you had a good time! :goodvibes:

I did see the skirt! You did great!!! I can't believe that this was your first one!

Sadly I did have to pay the extra $60 for the plane tickets. It was so annoying but I'm trying to get over it.

It will be 5 weeks tomorrow! Finally getting closer!!!! Maybe I should start sewing :rolleyes1

The party sounds like a great time! Enjoy your week off!

At work now :) I had court today so my MIL is watching Ash for the day (no folks...I didn't get in trouble...I work in the court house half the week!) Tomorrow it's supposed to rain so maybe we'll go see Oceans and Friday we might hit up the library. Yesterday we went to visit Aisling's "friends" at the zoo. Pics coming when I can upload them.

And in other news...my ME documents came :woohoo: Normally this is exciting but this time it was a total surprise. I was told that I wouldn't get them because we rented DVC from someone who lives in England. But we got them...woo hooo...we don't have to lug all our bags across the airport (unless our flight gets delayed) We also can skip the ME line that they now have for people who don't have their booklets. :cheer2:

Woo-hoo for ME documents!!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

Looking forward to zoo pics and let us know what you think of Oceans if you go see it.

sorry I have been MIA. I finally got internet working here.

I need to change my address so that I can get my ME documents- glad they didn't come this weekend when my parents were here! Still haven't told them, maybe next month. . .

Zoo pics are up on FB. If only it was that easy to post on here...I'm get them up quicker!

Sorry I missed your call. I was out with the girls. I can't believe that the boys haven't slipped yet

So they extended the park hours for May. Sat MK is open until Midnight, Sunday MK open til 3am, and Monday AK open until 11pm. I've never been to WDW when AK hasn't closed at 5pm. Would it be insane to spend the day at Sea World and then go to AK just to see it at night?????

5 weeks!!!

Happy Birthday to Animal Kingdom!!!

So I informed Aisling about the extended park hours listed about. She informed me that she could definitely last until 3am at MK ;) Then I asked her if she thought maybe after our Sea World day that we should have a little rest and then go to AK to see it in the dark since we never had. She responded "nah, me and dad can stay at the hotel and you can go and take pictures for us...I don't want to get chased by animals in the dark!" :rotfl2:

Ash is too funny!!!!!

We loved AK at night - we did an evening EMH in October and it was great! We rode EE twice in a row with a wait of only a few minutes.

34 days!!!

Today Aisling's cousin is celebrating his 8th birthday at WDW and he got to pick the park for his birthday celebration...his choice:

Animal Kingdom (kid is terrified of rides and loves animals so this wasn't a huge surprise).

So in honor of his birthday, I hope he find a surprise or two along the way

Yes. It would. Unless you want to be toast the next day. I'm with Aisling on this one.

Um, NO! You have to ride Everest at night and come back and tell us all about it!!!

I'm loving the daily pics! :lovestruc

Can you share the punch recipe?

OOOH a debate!!! I love it!!! Keep the opinions coming folks :thumbsup2

For anyone who would like any of the Disney recipes...here is the website with them

The punch obviously is not that great for you. To make is *slightly* better I used Light Fruit Punch and Diet Ginger Ale.

Does she know the animals are AT the hotel at night? (and during the day?)

 I love all of Aisling's comments about the extended park hours! :rotfl: I think AK at night would be so amazing! I too haven't been when it's been open past 5. It's my dream to do EE at night! :yay:

32 days left and it's Malificent day on my countdown chart so might as well do a Malificent picture today!

I started working on Aisling's Sea World outfit this weekend. I have so little motivation....uggghhh. You think the "32 day" part would be all the motivation I need :rotfl2:

That is soooo tempting... but makes for a very, very long day.
I guess you could do it as long as you planned a nap between Sea World and AK and/or a sleep-in morning for the next day!

I've never seen AK at night so I understand the temptation...
