Sorry its Friday and my brain is already on weekend mode :rotfl:

Why hasn't Mary Poppins come to Boston yet?! Its KILLING me! I don't care for NYC otherwise I would have gone and seen it by now

41 days!!!!!! :woohoo:

You will be absolutely fine. I went to see a show in khaki shorts, sneakers, and a tshirt on Bway once :scared1: (we were hanging out in the NYC for the day and decided on a whim to get tickets at the TKS booth) Problem was we ended up in the front row. I felt like a clown but you know what...nobody looked twice at us. Do you have comfy nice shoes???? Frankly, I would re-think them. Unless you are good at walking in nice shoes. Me...not so much.

Hope you guys have a great time at the show. Thank goodness we didn't join you. They decided to announce that Aisling is having dance pics AND class tomorrow!

Thanks! I knew I could count on you for a good opinion. The shoes aren't heels - they are Bass loafers so I think I will be okay.

Thanks for the show wishes! I am a little nervous - this is our first day trip to NYC and it is going to be a really long day for Jordan. We catch the charter bus at 6:45am and get home at 11pm. I wish you could have joined us but you definitely wouldn't want to miss dance pictures. Next time!

I do not know. It's really weird. In fact it's not on the show schedule through 2011 at this point. Very odd. Why don't you like NYC?????

I'm your Bway gal ;) :rotfl: I have boxes of Playbills. By the way, I just finished Kristin Chenowirth's (original Glinda) autobiography...it was quite cute if you are looking for a quick read. She gives a little Bway dirt and some insider stuff about Wicked (including how Elphaba flies by way of a computerized petti)

Hopefully Jordan will sleep on the bus. Aisling stayed awake the whole drive last year and then fell asleep just as we pulled into the city :headache:

Thanks for the good wishes! I love Kristin Chenowith! I will have to check it out.

Ben is looking forward to it! I've been thinking about doing a TR, let's see if I can find some time! I'll probably be posting to FB, so you'll get a taste of it before you go :-)

This has got to be my favorite picture EVER from your trips. It's so awesome that you got the whole Snow White gang!

Thank you! It was one of the best moments ever. The interaction was great and it was SNOW WHITE (me and Ash's favorite). And it made it even better when I found out that they didn't have them all together at every MNSSHP....we just lucked out!

Oh you should! Although I will enjoy the update. Aisling's cousins got there last night and I'm loving the play by play on FB!

I'm loving this picture countdown! Especially the first one with your mom at the castle. Even with no smile and eyes closed she's beautiful! :cloud9:

Today I had my Mickey Mom's Club Party! It turned out to be a success. The kiddos all seemed to have fun which was the important thing!

We had 9 kids who were able to come (it's school break here in Mass). I picked up a couple of extra things for the bags from $1 Spot at Target. We made the punch recipe that's on the Mickey Mom's website. We also made Mickey head shaped rice krispie treats that I let the kids dip in red and yellow melted chocolate. We also made pirate swords/fairy wands (pretzels rods dipped in white chocolate and rolled in sprinkles). I got the Mickey chicken nuggets from Target and the Mickey cheese from Walmart to do cheese and crackers. We save all our popcorn buckets from our WDW trips so I made popcorn and filled them all.

The kids played the Bingo game, played outside for awhile, and played Toy Story Mania on the Wii. I had my scrapbooks out for people to look through and the planning video playing when everyone arrived.

We didn't do trivia because we had some younger kiddos

We blew up our balloons at the party store. They only burst one filling them up but we lost a bunch of them during the party. I think it was the temp outside making them pop.

Downloading some pics now :thumbsup2

Ooohh, the party sounds like fun! I can't wait to see all of the pictures. :goodvibes And you might have mentioned this, but how did you get chosen to host the party? Was it something you signed up for or did you have to be selected? This was the red box thing, right?

Unfortunately I can't really post more pics. The other kids are in them and well you understand...

I had to write 3 little essays to get selected for the big red box of Disney goodies. You had to be a member of the Disney Mom's Club in order to get the invitation to write the essays. Then you had to have been to WDW within the past year. If you had, you could apply. It was really fun. Of course it costs you more than the stuff they send you but that's ok!
