Thank you! We have started leaving her out of her crate and she is doing wonderful! We do have a huge yard, and the entire thing is fenced in. It was a huge selling point for us on the house and we will honestly never go to a house without a fenced in yard with a dog ever again.

We can't keep it all here.. we just got another foot last night and they are calling for more Thursday and then Saturday-Monday. We don't have anywhere left to put it! Driving right now sucks with all the snow mounds.

Thanks! And yes, Garth was amazing. I was thinking that the only way I was going to get to see him was in Vegas so I was so happy when he decided to come back to Boston after 17 years! I love "The Dance." I used to hate country but I love it now. We listen to it every day at work!

Did you guys get hit again yesterday? We had school cancelled again yesterday. They are also saying there is more coming this week. I REALLY won't see the grass before Disney at this rate!

Country music in general seems to be really popular up here and the concerts are always a good time. I especially love the summer ones.

Just wanted to get on and post a quick update. No pictures here so please bare with me.

First I'll do the weekend update. Saturday we went into Boston with my parents and saw Blue Man Group! It was a blast. They have changed some things up in the last few years which is good because we had all seen it before but the show was a bit different with the new changes. We went out to eat after and had a great time!

Sunday we did stuff around the house and I went to Providence RI to see my cousin in her cheerleading comp. It was the first time I got to see her this year so that was fun. I also got to meet up with some of my old cheerleaders and that was fun too. I also upgraded my phone Sunday so I am now using the iPhone 5s! That change was much needed!!! Then we went to my parents house for the nail bitter of a game where my PATRIOTS took home the Superbowl win!!!!! Yes I jumped up and down, and yes I screamed with joy. Such a great game!!

Yesterday I had another snow day! We got another foot of snow. And they are calling for more snow for Thursday and also Saturday-Monday. There is literally no where for us to put all this snow!!

On a Disney update I have good news and bad news. Good news is that a Cast Member from guest services called me this weekend to talk about the email I sent. She was very nice and apologetic. I don't want to say too much, but she did inform me that there will be something special waiting at the Resort for us at check in. I am very pleased and I will be sending another email talking about just how good this Cast Member was.

Bad news is that they are changing the FP+ system for BOG lunch.. I was really looking forward to this and now I have to be up at midnight on February 25th to try to get a lunch ADR for BOG. That date is just so close to our trip that I am afraid I'm not going to get it. Here's to hoping for some pixie dust for that to happen!

Hopefully my next update will be more substantial once I figure out this new system. Haha See ya!!

From what I understand, the site that you could use at 28 days out is now disabled and starting February 25th lunch will be an ADR option on the dining site and over the phone. Right now on the dining site BOG is still only available for dinner. Curious how smooth the transition will be. I was really looking forward to this and hope we don't have to either eat a super early lunch or wait in a huge line.

Hello trusty followers!!! Sorry I haven't updated, but I've been trapped at home buried in snow!! We also went away this weekend so that made it tough too. I'm going to do a bit of a life update and a Disney update. Mainly I'm adding the life update so that I can add some pictures and not all words!

So this past weekend we went away to North Conway, New Hampshire. My cousin's boyfriend's family owns a house up there so we stayed there. We got up there Friday night. The house fit 13 of us comfortably so it was a lot of fun.

Saturday my step dad, both my cousin's boyfriend's, and one of my cousins went skiing at Cranmore. It was about 5 minutes away from the house. The rest of us planned to go see them come down the mountain once and then go shopping. While we were pulling into Cranmore, we found out my cousin went down once and couldn't do it. She walked down the mountain and refused to get a ride down. We were laughing but she didn't think it was funny!

From there we went shopping at some local places on the main strip. This was in a store called Zebbs which I guess is a very well known place on the strip. I thought this wall of sauces was neat!



I also found this manikin and named her Thelma!



We checked out some other shops and found a winery! The wine in there was very good! It was all sweet though so you have to like sweet wine.





After some more looking around we went back to the house for some lunch and munchies. From there Sken and I and my cousin and her Boyfriend went to check out a Brewery! We did some tastings with two flights and it was all pretty good. Nothing stellar but it wasn't bad either.



We had fun. We then went back to the house and got ready for dinner. We went to a place called Delaney's. Since there was 13 of us, we got two tables, the kids table and the adult table.





Dinner was good and not too pricey which was nice. From there the kids went home and changed. We headed back to the mountain and went tubing! I had never gone before and it was SO MUCH fun! We got to go together in pairs, triples, or quads which was pretty cool. I only went once by myself and we all made sure to go with everyone else.





We got back late afternoon on Sunday. We really had a good time. A friend of my mom's watched Tessie along with her dog who is Tessie's age. They had a ball playing with each other and Tess is still so tired from playing all weekend!



Monday and yesterday were snow days here in town. Because I do payroll, and it was a pay week, the Superintendent sent the facilities director to come get me in his plow and bring me in and then home when I was done. I took this picture last night when I had to head to my moms so you can get the jist of all the snow.



Hopefully there isn't too much more on the horizon!

On the Disney update, we got our luggage tags! Also our magic bands are "being personalized" !!! YAY!!! Should be shipping out soon! I also bought another shirt off Etsy that is shipped and I can't wait to see it when it comes in. I will post a picture when it does.

We did have a good weekend in North Conway! Tubing was a blast, I'm sure your boys would love it! The winery is next to the Naked Bohemian Store. It's down an alley.

Howdy All!!

I am so freaking SICK of all this snow!!

This past weekend we got another 2 feet of snow. The totals for Boston right now are 7 feet. And believe it or not.. it is snowing as I type this. We are supposed to get a "dusting" today of 6-8 inches.

Ugh. So anyways.. getting snowed in wasn't the only thing we did this weekend... we saw Frozen on Ice! The show was great! I was in such a happy place. Sken could tell to and I think that made him happy too! I took some pictures of the show!

Before the show started, they had Mickey and Minnie come out!



They did a skit on love. Now I'm not sure if they did love because it was Valentine's Day, or if they do it for every show. They talked about how there is all different types of love. Some of the princesses came out with their princes, except Belle, which I was bummed about. However they also talked about love between friends and Timon and Pumba came out!



And my favorite.. BUZZ AND WOODY!





(They were mid trick.. not falling, LOL)

This was all before the show even started!!

The show itself was very cute and well done. They had some cool features of props that were automated and would scoot around the ice. They also had the real Olaf!! Sven was played by two people so that was cool! Here are some pictures of the actual show!















So all in all I thought it was very well done. It's been years since I have seen an on ice show and I really enjoyed it. They voiced over all the words and songs, and some of the actors could have done a better job lip syncing but I'm sure that people behind us weren't able to tell the difference.




The ride home from Boston, which usually takes 35-40 minutes, took over an hour and a half! The snow was really starting to come down! That was the first wave, and we got another wave and high winds on Sunday. Here are some more pictures of my back yard that can be compared to the ones I posted before..

This one was taken yesterday. Sken and I ran errands and ran into Old Navy. This one is in the parking lot. It's hard to judge how tall it actually is, but look at the back of Sken's car, and the light post for reference.



So crazy!! And like I said before it's snowing now and there is more coming Sunday. This is just insane!!

I said in my last update that I was waiting for a shirt to come in and that I would take a picture when I got it. Well I got it and love it, however I just ordered two more that should be coming in today or tomorrow so I will wait and do them all at once. I also just scored plain black shorts from Old Navy for $5 online! So I'm thinking I'm going to start to gather all this stuff together in a pile to get ready for packing. Sken won't let me pack just yet, so I will call this "gathering" LOL!!

Also I mentioned to Sken that there were a few movies I wanted to see before we leave. I haven't seen Brave, Tangled, or Princess and the Frog. We checked Netflix and there weren't there. During our errands yesterday he asked me to see how much they were and if they were cheap he was going to buy them for me. They weren't cheap at all!!! So he is going to download and burn them for me!! Now the question is will he watch them with me??

To end this little update I will include a picture from our weekend in North Conway that I just got. My cousin made a Snapfish account with all the pictures that she took from the weekend. I liked this one of all us kids before we went tubing!



Also I took this picture of our countdown yesterday. So it's actually 23 days but so close to being in the teens!!!

The ice show looks like a lot of fun. I've not been to one in at least 12 years...the last one we went to we took my niece and she is now 19. I'll have to make a point of "adopting" a child or just making Mark take me.

Thanks Kathy! It seems to have stopped for the most part, however it keep going from "warm" (20s-30s) back to freezing so the small bit of snow that has melted is freezing and there is ice everywhere!! My driveway is like an ice skating rink! These next two weeks can't go by fast enough.. I need some sun and warmth!

Here Ye! Here Ye!

Today we're doing the TWO WEEK DANCE!!

I can't even believe that two weeks from right now I am going to be anxious to get out of work, throw last minute things in a bag and head to Disney!

We're still battling some fierce snow and cold here. It's going to snow today actually. An inch or two but still it's more snow. I actually need it because our entire driveway is a sheet of ice and I need the snow to cover it so that I don't fall and break a hip!! LOL. My uncle came over the other day to teach Sken and I how to use the wood stove which was awesome because we can now heat the house for much less. Here is our wood stove cranking the other night!



So that's pretty much what's going on on the home front.

Now ladies and gentlemen... we have some updates of the GRANDEST kind.. of the DISNEY KIND!!

So in my last few updates I mentioned that I had ordered some shirts off Etsy that I was excited to share. Every time I got one in the mail, I had another coming right after it so I held off. Well they are all here!! The one I got first I got because we are going to the Frozen sing-a-long. I thought it was absolutely perfect!! So without further ado.. here is my Frozen Tank!



I can't wait to wear it to the sing-a-long!!!

So after I got that one, I was thinking and decided that because I found one that was affordable enough, I would go for it. I had no clue how it was going to go over so when they came in I laid them out in the spare room to see what sort of reaction I was going to get. It was iffy.. but after a little back and forth I got the okay!



We have matching shirts for one day! Sken was iffy because he hates anything with his name on it. He hates using his real name, because there is always a big to-do about it.. how do you spell it? What nationality is it? Yada yada yada. So when we go places he uses his "Take-out" name.. Steve! LOL.

I also went shopping last week. I hit up Old Navy and Target and got some deals. They are just bringing out the summer stuff so there is limited selection but some good stuff. Also yesterday I ran to Target because I've had my hair straightener since 2006 so it was time for a new one. The one that I wanted Target had on sale for half the price, and it came with a free mini curling iron so I bought that. I also hit up the little bin at the front of the store and got some beads and stuff for us to wear on St. Patrick's Day! So I started to gather it all and here it all is!

I also grabbed this for our front door



These are both Yoga pants. The all black is pants and the blue/green is capris. I like to wear these when we go back to the parks at night after dinner, and also on travel days. I usually get them at Victoria's Secret or American Eagle for $30 and these were $15 a piece at Target.



I also got this dress at Target for $11



This was my Old Navy haul.. The tanks were $8 each, the flip flops were 2 for $5 and the shorts were $12





I got this stuff at Target to make Mousekeeping Envelops



So here is the whole lot all spread out. This includes the shirts I have posted earlier in the PTR and the new ones posted above. I think I'm getting there!!!!










So that is all I have gathered right now. I cleaned out my carry-on bag because I also use it for cheer so it had all the stuff from this season still in it. This weekend I will get the out my suitcase and grab one from my cousin for Sken because he doesn't have one (he won't use mine because they are pink lol) I have to get the summer clothes from the attack too and see if anything needs to be washed/ironed and make sure we have everything!



EDITED TO ADD: I can't believe that I forgot to add this... but I GOT OUR BE OUR GUEST ADR YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to eat lunch there!!


And now for the moment you all have been waiting for. Okay, maybe not, but I waited like a crazy person for. I got THEE Mickey Mail yesterday. Although I went in 2014, I didn't have a reservation so I didn't have one of these so getting this was my first time and I was EXCITED!!





OUR MAGICBANDS ARRIVED!!!!

So there you have it. Disney is right around the freaking corner and I am chomping at the bit for it to get here. Still have some stuff to do to get ready but mentally I am READY to go!!

I also have to admit that I am damn proud of myself for getting this far in the PTR. I was determined to keep this one going and I am going to do it all the way to the end. Hell, I might even attempt a TR!!


For my exit of this update, I would like to ask you all to think happy thoughts and pixie dust for me. The school system that I work for posted the position for Varsity Cheer Coach. I applied early this week and the athletic director said he got it and we will catch up next week to discuss. I want this position SO BAD. I applied two years ago and didn't get it because I didn't have much experience, but I have much more now. I got my hopes up that time, and I am trying really hard not to this time. The girls on the team I coached when they were in Pop Warner, and they are the team I took to Disney. So please if you can, send vibes!
