I've never noticed those McDonalds signs they're hilarious and fantastic all at the same time!!!

I LOVE your pictures! I probably asked you this already, but what kind of camera do you have? It's like a saw the World Showcase from a whole new perspective through your pictures That's what I love about trip reports, you always see new things that you hadn't noticed in person... like to McDonald's ads! Too funny! And I laughed when you mentioned the O Canada music. I've never seen the show but I have the song from the Happiest Celebration on Earth CD and I LOVE it! It's so pretty and definitely one of my favorite songs on the CD!

We all use Canon point and shoots, not sure of the exact models though. Alek has one of those teeny tiny pocket sized ones and Erich and I have bigger models. Erich's is the best with a 10x zoom.

They have a new O Canada movie now, I believe it was replaced in the Fall of 07.

Well as some of you know I had planned a Dis/Fairy Godmother meet at the Petals pool bar for a bunch of my online buddies for this afternoon. So even though I did not participate in the Fockerfest dinner the previous night I was still going to get to hang out with a bunch of them at this meet.

When we got back to the hotel Erich informed me that he was not going to go the meet as he was not feeling well (he had come down with a cold) and wanted to take a nap. Alek decided not to go either since Erich wasn't going. I knew everybody was going to be disappointed about not getting to meet them as they had all said how much they were looking forward to it.

Mom changed into her bathing suit and headed down to the food court and then the pool before me. She claimed that she was going to just be hanging out by the pool and that she was not actually keeping an eye on me. I think that she was secretly afraid I was meeting with a bunch of axemurderers . I left a few minutes after she did as I wanted to put on my swimsuit as well in case I decided to go swimming after the meet.

Arriving at Petals I saw Heidi (Blue_River on the Dis/ Merryweather on Fairy Godmothers) and her family sitting at a table by the bar so I went over and said hello. I noticed Mom sitting over by the pool, turns out she had already stopped by the table and said hello to Heidi.

Nobody else was there yet so we (mostly me) talked and talked. Heidi apparently reported to our mutual friends that I am quite the chatterbox and now nobody will believe that I am really shy. I am honestly!

After a while other people started to arrive and we all got to talking. Some of them even brought presents with them! Heidi gave all us Fairies a pretty little magic wand, Kat handed out some lime green Fockerfest bracelets and Tanya gave me a Disney Cruise Line bag (I'll post a picture later today when I get home from work) that she had bought for me! What a sweetie!

Mom kept coming over every now and then to check up on me and see what was going on. I mean she came to wait on me and get me refills on my drink.

We took a group photo of all the Disers that showed up at the meet.

I got to regal them all with my adventures at the Magic Kingdom and my rat encounter. That was a story that I could just not keep in even though I knew I would be spoiling my TR for them.

I think the meet went on for about two hours, before it ended Heidi took a picture of me with one of our flat friends, I would post the picture but I do not have a copy of it.

After the meet broke up I went back to the room to find Alek and Erich wide awake. Turns out they did not take naps after all. They told me they even came down to the pool and walked right by me and didn't stop to say hello. I have no recollection of seeing them even though they say I looked right at them. Oh well.

I had a really good time at the meet and I am glad that I got to meet up with so many of my online buddies.

I'm so sad that I let my family/friends outvote me on this one! Next time I'm putting my foot down and will leave them if I have too! What makes me even madder is that I probably missed everybody by about 15 minutes. After the parade we headed back, changed into suits and were headed down to the pool. We wound up going to the computer pool though becasue apparently they shut hippy dippy down for an emergency cleaning
