Oh I love TSM, that's such a bummer that their guns didn't work. I'm surprised the CM didn't let them ride through again, that's what should have happened. Boo.

Erich and myself enjoyed the ride so much the first time we were doing warm up stretches and debating what exactly the ideal way was to get the high scores etc. Once the ride started nothing happened... then nothing more happened Erich tried pushing some of the buttons that looked like they did something no idea what though And after awhile we went nuts for a few minutes... Lessa and mom were sitting behind us and didn't hear us somehow

So we get off the ride and I inform the dude and he said "ok thanks" And then we immediately left so we didn't even know if he had done anything wrong or not so I wouldn't say rude just clearly didn't give a hoot as he got minimum wage and while me and Erich were frustrated we weren't going to go waste time and get even more stressed out trying to find some customer service person to give us free fast passes or something. So after all the warm up exercises and stretches and other forms of getting pumped for the ride we were crushed Erich didn't talk for nearly 10 minutes as he normally does if their is conflict or is upset and I expressed my pain and sorrow by complaining to lessa for 10-15 minutes about how the rides should have some sort of sensor that should indicate when something went wrong. So of course she told us to go find someone to complain but like I said earlier why waste more time and get more stressed plus as me and Erich are also poor minimum wage employees we fully understand the pain these people go through every day

So like the men we were we were upset for a short while then moved on and made the best of it as we can't hold grudges and have the memory span of a goldfish

lol and I wont explain on why Lessa is good at making a scene as she would probably not speak to me again for a week :S

Thanks Rosie, we just thought there was going to be a bit more to it and there wasn't. It was a decent ride just not something I will have on my must-do list in May.

Well that sucks that TSM was broken. I can't imagine it's much if your shooter doesn't work.

The photos of Great Movie Ride are wonderful! I really enjoyed that one.

You are making me want to document my brothers the next time they go on vacation with us. That could come in handy to have some photo evidence of things they do. At 32 they still behave the same way yours do!!!

ETA: I just saw the update!!! Such a bummer about the TSM ride not working right. What a strange CM. Why would he want to put someone on a ride that doesnt work? Weird.

Definitely document your brothers, it will provide a good laugh. I don't think my brothers will ever change and will probably be just like this when they are 32 as well.

He should have made a scene. Maybe you all would have gotten another free ride.

About the guns not working. You should have gone to guest services, I bet they would have made it right...like they did with us and Spalsh Mountain!

We kept watching the ceiling waiting for him to spring out and nothing happened. We were really disappointed.

Yeah, I feel sorry for people who stand in the hour long line only to have their ride vehicle not work. I really hope that that CM didn't put anybody else in the seats Alek and Erich were in.

Wow Lessa fantastic accuracy, my score was higher but my accuracy was only about 30%! Oh and you should definitely have made a fuss, you would have all gotten free FP's

I love the randomness of TOT as well. Such a fun ride, I remember how nervous I was riding it for the first time last year. Now I am not nervous at all.

I don't know if they actually make minimum wage. I think Alek was just referring to the fact that they are low wage employees.

Yeah it did stink for them. When Alek told the CM the shooters weren't working he just sort of nodded his head and then got busy loading the next group of people onto the ride.

After the letdown that was our second ride on Toy Story Mania we headed across the way to the character meet and greet. We could see Buzz and Woody inside but it was hard to tell if there were any other characters in there as well. We decided to jump in line anyways as we had accomplished almost everything we wanted to for the day and we still had a lot of time to kill until Fantasmic. Alek was still in a mood about the ride malfunction at Toy Story so he was complaining a bit about that while we were in line.

Throughout the queue they have all sorts of props that you can get your picture taken in. Usually Alek and Erich would be all over that kind of goofy stuff but they were too depressed still over Toy Story. I kept trying to get them to pose for silly pictures thinking that would cheer them up but they refused.

There was a family in line in front of us and the mother was on the phone the entire time she was in line. It sounded like she was talking to somebody else in the park. As we were getting close to Buzz and Woody about 10 people came and joined her in line. I hate when people do that, they weren't little kids either. They were definitely old enough that they could have stood in line with everybody else. The mom kept yammering away on her phone, it was a tad annoying. I also spotted a major fashion faux pas on one of the girls she was with. I felt really bad for the girl, her mother never should have let her out like that. She was wearing a tank top that completely exposed her bra in the back and on the sides (the shirt didn't fit, it wasn't meant to look like that) and on top of that the bra was too tight and didn't fit the girl properly so you could see it digging into her skin. Poor girl, shame on her mother for allowing her out in public like that and for not buying her clothes that fit her properly. Sorry T, no picture to prove the horror that was that outfit.

Soon enough we were with Woody and Buzz. Woody really liked Alek's shirt, he pointed at it and then at himself as though he was saying that chicks dug him too. He then made me stand next to him for the picture.

Alek and Erich's moods were starting to improve after this. Mom really wanted to go on the Backlot Tour so we got in line for that. As we were queuing up a CM came out and asked for three volunteers. Alek and Erich put their hands up right away and they of course got picked. The CM was still looking for a third volunteer and they told me I should do it but I am too shy and a big chicken so I said no way! An Asian gentleman volunteered soon after. They pulled us and the Asian mans group over to the side so we would not have to stand in line and then they disappeared with the volunteers. Mom kept trying to peer around the side into the show area to see what was going on but the CM scolded her for doing so. Soon the previous show was over and we were allowed to go in before everybody else. We shared the front row with the family of the other volunteer and then the rest of the guests were in the rows behind us.

Soon the show started and we saw Alek and Erich come out on the "stage". We videotaped the whole thing with Erich's camera. I am not going to say much as I don't want to ruin Alek and Erich's update but it was hilarious! I was laughing the whole time. I don't think the CM's realized what they had gotten themselves into by choosing Alek and Erich as participants in the show.

I'm going to end my update here. Alek and Erich will probably post their version of what happened tonight or tomorrow. Their update will include the video I took of their experience. It is a must-see!

great pics...thanks for an weekend update....its been slow here today while Ive been watching the Ryder Cup here in Louisville Ky...my sister lives 5 mins away normally and the traffic is so bad we are watching on TV
