No not yet, the plan right now is for mom to call Jetblue once we hit the 24 hour mark and try and get us on the first flight out that morning into Orlando. If we can't get on that then she is going to try and get us on the flight into Jacksonville. Of course the storm could change direction/strength drastically over the next day so we may not need to do any of that. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed.

You guys are leaving Wednesday right? I don't think you will have any problems, maybe a little rain but the storm probably will have lost all its strength by the time you get far enough south.

Good news! Just switched our flights down to Orlando to earlier in the day. We will now be landing around noon on Tuesday vs 7pm which was our original flight. This should give us plenty of time to get settled before Fay rolls in given the recently updated NHC progression chart. Hopefully there will be no delays.

I know what you mean, we always used to get really bad flooding in Virginia Beach, enough to cancel school for several days when one hit.

Oh, I'm so glad you were able to switch your flight! Sounds like you will have enough time to get down there and get in your hotel room before things get crazy. At least you will be there!

It was definitely a huge relief. As soon as I saw that JetBlue had the weather advisory up and was allowing people to switch flights without fees I had mom calling them to make sure we got on the early flight.
