It would also give us a chance to ride on the monorail which we haven't done since 1997.

It's been 11 years since your last monorail ride? A trip to WDW isn't complete without at least one ride on the monorail (at least for me).

for nine days...well it may be 8 days technically now since its after midnight.

It's 8 now!

We will leave the park around 1:30ish so that I can get back to POP and get ready for my meet at the Petals pool bar! I am so excited for this, I am finally going to meet some of my favourite online buddies!

Now the big question of the day for me is whether I should wear orange or purple?

Yeah sorry, I never had such aspirations in life. The one time we rode the monorail back in 1997 was a scary experience. Lots of pushing and shoving to get on and we were packed like sardines on it.

Nope not a typo, it is a common drink that they sell at most of the on-property pool bars, I think it probably originated at the Poly going by the name. Anyways it is a raspberry flavoured drink. A pina colada with raspberry vodka and raspberry puree.

The Plan: Day Seven

Departure Day! I am sad about leaving and I haven't even gone on the trip yet.

No parks for us on departure day, our flight leaves MCO around noon so we really don't have time.

I have us booked for an early ADR at Chef Mickey's so we can say goodbye to Disney in a fun way. We will pack up our bags the night before so we can just throw them in the car in the morning and head off to the airport right after breakfast.

Hopefully we will have no problems with airport security like we did last year. We all have valid passports now so we shouldn't have to worry about them not recognizing our government issued id.

We have a direct flight heading home so we should arrive in Syracuse mid-afternoon. We may do a bit of shopping at the mall and grocery store before crossing the border. Hopefully we will be home by 8 that night and I'll be posting the first installment of the TR soon after.

Only one week to go!
