The Silly and Mischievous Adventures of Four Crazy Canucks - FINAL THOUGHTS 2/1

 It really is, we were at the pet store yesterday and I don't even remember what we were talking but the female cashier shock her head and said she felt sorry for me living with them every day. :rotfl:

Just imagine the three of us together...that would be scary...I'm basically a child in a old man's body.

Them doing the Backlot show is one of my favourite moments from the trip.

I've never known any one who's done that part of the show..now I sort of do.

That's so cool that they got to do it....

Hi Lessa another great Update !!:thumbsup2
Jordan I am a kid in a VERY old womans body!!:lmao:
I even did TT so yes yor Mom and Bro would have been fine .Tell'em if Rosie will do it they can So next time Do It for Rosie !!:rotfl2:

Another beautiful day in Florida! That makes it 2 sunny days vs 4 rainy days.

:cool1:

I hate PDA'S no matter the type of couple displaying it, a quick kiss is fine but when you are hanging all over each other you need to take that somewhere else please, especially when you are in a theme park surrounded by children. Off my soapbox now.

ITA ::yes::

. It was watering up like crazy, I could barely keep it open.

You are just not having a good week this time:sad2:

The ride was okay, nothing too thrilling, I think Mom and Erich coudl have handled it no problem.

:faint: Are you trying to kill Jo;) :rotfl2:

So where do you think we were headed?

Breakfast with Princesses ;)

You got such great shots of the world showcase, with all those blue skies. I have to say I am not a fan of Test Track either. I usually don't even bother with it. booooooring.
The videos were funny too, especially of the "Everyone Going to One Location Parade" :rotfl:

I know they could totally handle it, they are just big chickens. Test Track is just like riding in a convertible. :snooty:

I know, I truly was pathetic this trip.

:faint: Are you trying to kill Jo;) :rotfl2:

That was exactly what I was going to say! :rotfl:

Yeah, I was so glad it was a nice sunny Epcot day, WS just doesn't look as nice when it is all cloudy and dreary outside.

sad to hear you did not like test track a whole bunch, that is one of favorite rides

:lmao::lmao: That video Alek made of the Soarin' parade was hilarious! :lmao: :lmao: We usually don't get to the parks until 2:00 and we leave before closing so we've never seen so many people heading in one direction like that, that's insane! I loved the World Showcase pictures too. Can't wait for more!

Glad you enjoyed the update, I always laugh when I watch Alek's videos.

After finishing up the Pangani Trail it was time for us to head to Asia to get our Expedition Everest fastpasses. :woohoo: Only Alek and I will ride this so we used Erich and Mom's tickets to get an extra set so we could ride twice. On the way over we of course had to take some pictures.

The pathway between Africa and Asia was completely deserted, it was like we had the park to ourselves. :goodvibes

When we got to Everest the place was fairly deserted, the complete opposite of how it usually is. After I grabbed the fastpasses we decided to go visit the Maharajah Jungle Trek, another thing we missed on our trip last year. :confused3

These pictures may not be in order as the time stamp on Erich's camera was acting wonky and would reset itself all the time. Every night when we would load the pictures onto the computer the times for the pictures he took would all be off. Made it difficult to sort them with Alek's and my pictures thrown into the mix as well. I did my best though. :cutie:

This guy did not seem happy about the rain, he was hanging around that door clearly wanting to go inside.

He eventually decided to take cover inside these bushes. Poor kitty, I didn't blame him for wanting to get out of the rain. :guilty:

I just loved the theming on this trail, it was so beautiful. I took tons of pictures, wish I could post them all for you but I think it would bore you all to death. :lmao:

Now there was one thing in this park that I knew that I did not want to see. There was no way that I was going to enter this area to view these nasty vile things no matter how much Alek and Erich teased me. For those of you who know me you probably know what I am referring to.....

Animal Kingdom is my favorite park and the attention to detail and the extraordinary theming is part of the reason why.

I just had to quote all of your pix as I couldn't pick just one......

We made our way through World Showcase and exited the park through the International Gateway. We made our way over to the boat dock to catch the next friendship boat. The CM there asked us where we were headed and we told him the Beach Club and he told us it would be faster to just walk. Mom wanted to wait for the boat though as she wanted to take in the sights from the water and Erich wasn't feeling well. The night before I could hear him wheezing away in his sleep as he had managed to come down with a cold.

A new boat driver was being trained so we got to watch her do some practice maneuvers before our boat arrived and then we were on our way. My eye was really bad at this point I couldn't keep it open it was stinging and watering up so much.

The CM was right and it would have been MUCH faster for us to walk to the Beach Club, none of us realized how close it actually is to the park, 5 minute walk max.

Now why we were going to the Beach Club? Well we had plans to eat lunch at Beaches and Cream of course! I planned for us to get there around opening so as to beat the lunch crowd as I have heard that it can get very busy and they do not take reservations.

It was very confusing finding our way to the restaurant, I stopped and asked a CM directions and they had no clue. How it is possible that they work at the hotel and can not give directions to the restaurant I do not know. Didn't matter as we found our way on our own by walking down a long hallway past what I assume was the Cape May Cafe and then out some doors by the pool and then around a corner.

When we got there the place was deserted, only two other tables were occupied. We got seated in a booth right away and were left to peruse the menu although I already knew that I was going to be getting one of their famous cheeseburgers.

Erich and I both ordered cheeseburgers

Mom got a sandwich

And Alek got a Grilled Chicken Sandwich

052a.jpg

My burger lived up to its reputation and was delicious! The fries were very good too.

Our meal over it was time to order dessert. I had told my family all about the famous Kitchen Sink and Alek was determined on getting it even though Mom and Erich were not interested. Erich decided to get an oreo sundae instead and Mom didn't want anything. I personally thought it was a waste to get the Kitchen Sink for just two people but Alek insisted so I gave in. I have plans to go back on my next trip and get a No Way Jose since I missed out on it this time.

The kitchen sink, you can see the excitement in Alek's eyes (well the one that made it into the picture :lmao: )

Oh my gosh that was a lot of whipping cream, in case you don't know they put on a whole can. It took forever to get down into the ice cream. Alek was mocking me as I could barely eat any of it as I was already fairly full from the burger. You can sort of tell in this picture how difficult it was for me.

At some point during the battle with the kitchen sink a woman with an English accent stopped at our table to say hello and who else could it be but Jo and her daughter Jess! It was too funny that of all the places in WDW we would be eating here at the same time and that she and her family would be seated in the booth right next to ours! We chatted a bit and then Mom and Jo started to go on about this English soap called Coronation Street that they both watch. Sorry Jo but I sorta zoned out on that part of the conversation.

I eventually gave up on the Kitchen Sink much to Alek's disgust, he still says that I am a wimp. He did a pretty good job on it though, there was less than half of it left once all was said and done and even then it was all a melted soupy mess that was left. It was fun to try it but I would definitely only recommend it if you have a few people sharing it or if you and the others were going just for that and not having a meal beforehand.

Before we left Jo grabbed me and said we had to take a picture, very unFockerlike! ;)

Our bellies full we headed back to the park, we walked back this time instead of taking the boat. ;)

That IS odd that the CM didn't know where B & C was.

You met Jo again AND you got a picture! :faint: Amazing! :)

Those burgers look good - I would imagine they beat the pants off the park CS ones...
