Hi I'm new to this board and to Disney in general. I am from ON, Canada too! And I completely agree about flying from the states. I am planning a trip for me, my DH, and my DD5 in Apr. 09 and we will be flying from Buffalo. It is much closer than the TO airport and cheaper! I love your trip report so far. (I haven't read all of it yet) Thank you for writing it!

While we were waiting for Dream Along With Mickey to start we heard an announcement that the Family Fun Day Parade was about to start and if you wished to participate you should head to the hub. This is a really cute activity for the family. Chip and Dale, Daisy, Pluto and other characters come out and play with the kids.

There was a marching band performing as well, they were pretty good!

I wandered around a bit more taking pictures.

Here is the Liberty Square bridge that was under refurbishment. Sadly due to it being down Spectromagic had been canceled for the week of our trip. This was very disappointing for us as we LOVE Spectromagic.

As you can see in this picture they already had the lights on the castle for the Holiday Castle Dream Lights. How I wish I could see them in person!

Oh my gosh! Is that blue sky I see?! Could it be a sign of things to come?

The show was a bit delayed in getting started as they had to push all the water off the stage and make sure it was dry for the safety of the performers. Luckily it was not too delayed and soon the show started. I adore this show, it is so much fun and the song is so catchy!
I apologize for all the pictures, I really tried to limit how many I posted but even doing that I ended up with so many! So here is a sampling of the pictures that Erich took during the show. I of course was on video duty as per our routine.

Hook and Smee look pretty freaky here, what is up with their costumes!

Wendy seems pretty shocked as well

I will be sad to see this show go as I assume it will with the end of the Year of a Million Dreams. I am excited to see what it will be replaced with though.

After the show was over we were all in better moods and it was now time for us to use our Splash Mountain fast passes.

Thanks for sharing those great videos! I love that show! Hook was SCARY looking when you caught him up close! I guess that's how they have his mouth move...but it just looks VERY freaky!

You are probably right about the freaky head being like that so his mouth can move. He is scary looking though!

I think that is the stage show Hook and the regular meet and greet Hook looks "normal"
