Hey Rosie! Looks like I need to spice/speed up my report as I seem to be losing readers like crazy! Where is everybody?

We leisurely made our way over to Camp Minnie-Mickey, I was distressed to see that they got rid of the statues of Daisy hiking with Huey, Dewey, and Louie. I wonder what happened to them, they were so cute!?

We decided to grab some ice cream while we waited for the show, it had an odd consistency to it, did not taste like regular soft serve ice cream, it was still good though!

After finishing up our ice cream it was time to get in line for Festival of the Lion King. Erich took this opportunity to tell me that my face was breaking out, how embarrassing! I took a picture of myself to see what he was talking about and wouldn't you know it I had a bunch of little red bumps on my chin. At the time I thought my skin was just reacting to the sudden exposure to the sun after all the rain, it didn't even look too bad, not very obvious at all unless looking closely. Turns out that what I thought was just a random breakout that would clear up quickly was actually something that would be much worse.....

Soon the doors for the show opened and we grabbed the seats closest to the floor that were not assigned as handicap seating, unlike this pushy woman who kept telling her sons to sit there despite the fact that the CM came over and told her they could not. The kids were so confused about who to listen to. As soon as the CM went away she was ushering them back into the handicap seats, some people!

Soon the show started and we discovered that we were seated in the giraffe section, the kid selected to show the audience what a giraffe sounded like was completely lost as to what sound to make, it was hilarious.

I absolutely love this show, it is wonderful! The music, the dancing, just great! I think my favourite part is the "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" number, the performers are wonderful!

We also of course took video of the show, that will be posted separately.

The show was just as good this year as it was last year, a must see for every trip to the Animal Kingdom. If you have not seen this make sure to on your next visit, you will not regret it!

Next up: Another first for us, one of the funniest things we saw on the trip.

Patience is a virtue and it was something that came on gradually so you all will have to wait for the point when I realized I was not just having a bad skin day.

Luckily for me Lessa did not post the picture of her and her rash. Now I must remind you this is only day one so its not that bad, but it does get worse believe me.

P.S. I did in fact take a daily picture of her rash so look forward to future rash updates.

And Lessa has told me you like cliffhanger so here I go.
Is Lessa's rash only temporary, is it some kind of reaction to the sun, does she end up looking like Quasimodo, from that not quite so good Disney movie that got a sequel, which should be burned and buried. You'll find out next time on ERICH'S RASH UPDATE
