I've heard of your bartender Clinta before. They used to either work at the comedy warehouse, or the outdoor bar near it. On the old Aol boards I have an online friend who was a comedy warehouse fanatic, and was friends with Clinta and mentioned their name often.

I have had Clinta serve me before at the Poly. I can honestly say that before Pleasure Island closed I never really payed attention to the bartender at the Poly. I have heard of him being mentioned before as well.

Was this firework suppose to look like a butterfly? Great job on the firework pictures. And all of you POP pictures have influenced me to book Pop for Wine and Dine 5K. Maybe we'll run into each other?

It does look like a butterfly, but I am not sure if it supposed to.

Pop is great and I could not get POP for the 5K. I had a pin code and ending up booking at All Star Sports. Good thing is I will have transportation from ASSp to the 5k and back. I do hope we "run" into each other. I will hopefully be arriving on the 26th or 27th. As we get closer, let's plan on trying to cross paths.

I am trying to access my reservations so I can double check dates and I Disney website is telling they have no reservations for me!!! I am not really worried because I have that magic reservation # but it would be nice to know the dates because I did so long ago I forgot.

Fun night

For me it is a memory from my first trip as a kid. We stayed at the Contemporary and I could see it out the window and was amazed that such a thing existed.

It is a simple little show but it is Disney unique.


The less other people know, the less crowded the beach is!

What great fireworks pictures! We just loved them last summer. I can hardly wait for this year.

Love the tour groups pictures! They were everywhere, weren't they? We were at Blizzard Beach and they actually got in a circle in the wave pool and did some little song and dance where they get going around in the circle. It was actually pretty amusing but could have been annoying to some as they took up a lot of space in the wave pool.

Agree on the fireworks. Might have to check them out from Poly Beach on our upcoming trip. When we were at Kidani the same time I was going to watch from there, but since we had the time we decided to head on over to MK and brave the crowds.

I had to chuckle when I heard his parents call him after watching him run around for a bit.
Mai tai much better than beer. Clinta makes a great Mai tai.

Glad I could start your day with a smile. 1 Mai Tai and I am feeling good, 2 and I am having fun, if I can get to 3 look out-
I really had fun on that bus. Even though it was a crowded bus and I was standing I managed to make the most of it. I really like the music POP plays on the bus.

I think the fireworks take on a different vibe on the beach. It is a more "peaceful" and relaxing time from seeing it in the park. In the park, there is more "energy" from everyone who has been waiting and the anticipation but on the beach, the water lapping on the shore and the low light before the fireworks are relaxing and set a different tone.

A Mai-Tai can fix almost anything. Even at Disney, a crowded bus no problem! i can play name that tune to POP anytime.
