Never get tired of seeing these views! I could spend so much time just walking through/around the many resorts taking pictures, window shopping, eating, and enjoying the atmosphere unique to each resort.

love the BW pictures! Makes me all excited that I am going to stay there in October!! :cool1:

And you are going to join the Disney runners? A 5k sounds like a fun event! I am still thinking about running the half marathon, but it will take quite a bit away from the trip. A 5k can be incorporated much more easily. :thumbsup2

Love seeing the pictures of the Yacht and Beach Club...reminds me of our honeymoon. We stayed at the Yacht Club.

I still need to check out the inside of the Boardwalk..we've never done that.

This space is being used as a service announcement for the suport of the
15th post. This post is generally treated poorly simply because of it's position. It sometimes gets some really good stuff to display but updates generally get the more prominent 1st post.

Ack who am i kidding?- update next page :rotfl2:

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:thumbsup2

Bummer that mousekeeping woke you up! I'm sure they are used to most people heading out early in the morning. Next time you'll have to remember to put out the 'do not disturb' sign :thumbsup2

Love the views from the Boardwalk :cloud9:

One of these days I'm going to get over to the Boardwalk area. It really is such a lovely area.

What? You gonna leave us in suspense on whether you bought in to DVC?!!

What a bummer that you got woken up by Mousekeeping! It seemed that this past summer they came really early everywhere. There was many days we would leave fo r the parks at 8:00 or earlier and notice the lady watching to see who leaved so she could go on in. We didn't mind (but of course we weren't asleep)!

What beautiful pictures! I love the Epcot area resorts (finally get to stay there in November).

I can't wait to hear about your adventures at DVC and what you thought of SSR.

great and i was going to pull of the skinnyman capris this summer

not anymore.

:sad2:

Love the atmosphere of the Boardwalk. Great place to wander.

But come on....8:55 a.m. with Mousekeeping? Seriously?

Well imagine my surprise when mousekeeping knocks on the door at 8:55am!!!!!

DOH!! :headache:

I spent the morning downloading pictures from the camera and really just resting.

I cannot tell you how important this is!!! The downloading that is. Resting is overrated.

Do you think this is really hiding this?

I give up... what is it?

I take a quick peak to see if BO is back.

Quick sniff of the pits works too.

You had me at the skinny manpris.

:lmao: WOW!!

She calls for the van and I am off to SS.

You make it sound like you've just been arrested.

Every time I see Boardwalk pictures I just stop and stare and take a deep breath. I instantly relax a little and can just smell the resort "smell". Ahhhhh a little slice of heaven.

BW area is such a great area. You will enjoy it.

I am going to run the 5K October 1st !!! I feel confident enough now that I will not get hurt and not fall flat on my face. i still need to register, I am kind of waiting for the map but I don't think the course will make it or break it at this point. I am a little sad it is at Ak but I understand why. I was hoping we could run on the 40th anniversary.

I may post a little running update soon.

All three resorts give off such different vibes yet all tie into the Boardwalk area nicely.

You need to make time to see the decorations, especially Paul the creepy chair.
Click here to read about Paul.

We went in there too, just to see the model of what a Boardwalk villa would be like.

Very interesting!

I did like the Boardwalk Villa model.
I figured I was alone and try new things so this was a new thing. :confused3

After I was fully awake I realized I should have done that too but when I went to look for it - I didn't even have one- I would have had to write a note for the door. :lmao: I was not thinking at 3am to even look for the little sign. I liked it better when it would just hang on the inside of the door.

I am usually up and out early but it seems like the room was probably getting cleaning later in the day so I was not thinking that that day I would dare to sleep to almost 9 am. :rotfl2:
I certainly was not thinking about it when I strolled in at 3am that morning!!
Kind of serves me right.

What beautiful pictures! I love the Epcot area resorts (finally get to stay there in November).
:yay::yay: For November- The holiday decorations are awesome.

I can't wait to hear about your adventures at DVC and what you thought of SSR.

Adventure is the right word to use. :ssst:
