Did you guys give Brooklynn a quarter to try the drinks?
Quarters are pretty effective with her.

I believe quarters were used.

I sure wish I could have been there to see the sugar cane pressing with her.

It was a simple yet unique demonstration. You will just have to watch when they have it next and make sure you are there.

I saw the Main Street Electrical Parade eventually, although not that night. Sorry I missed the group thing.

Hang on a bit - I know what you did that night.

Everyone totally understood why you did not make it. We have all been there, exhausted and needing some rest. Also needing to spend time with Trent was more important.

The Taste of Africa was something different for AK. It was a fun atmosphere. I only wish they did it during cooler weather. Being in AK Africa from 4-7pm was brutal. You sure couldn't tell by looking at the CMs though.

This was a great Dis meet. It is great sharing somethingyou enjoy with others who also enjot it.


More - Yup the night was young. Time to play some more and have another Dis Meet.

Don't they ? Some things I am positive happened on a certain trip, but I find photographic evidence from another trip.

I think you were so tired that if you look back at your trip report you would be surprised where you went and what you did. If you need help remembering between Wig'd and myself we will and can remind you.
Oh wait did wig'd ever finish that report???

As we all know there are so many layers to everything Disney does. As I go past the general atmosphere and dig for the small details, I realize everything has a story and there is a joke or pun everywhere.

Looks like a great spot to see the MSEP, too.

It is a great spot unless you want your Cindy to have a head or there is a crazy woman leaning over the rail waving her arms and gettting in your pictures.

Generally it is a good spot, the escape afterward can be a challenge though.

The MSEP had just passed by and was going up Main street in all its glory.

As the crowd decides where to go, I walk with Wigd and Shocker down to get a dole whip. I had popcorn with the parade so I think I just finished that while they had their Dole whips.
We made our way back to the castle for Summer Nightastic fireworks.

I took it all in but managed these from my phone.

The fireworks were all the way around. Neat to experience but you need to keep swiveling your head.
I need to see them from the Poly.
After fireworks , Anita and Mark were tired so they called it a night. I stayed and played a bit.
Guess where.

Monsters Inc of course.
I got a text while I was in there from MeMom . She was heading out to catch the late parade.
I made my way to the train station. I caught up with Memom and we watched the late parade together.

I sat with MeMom for a bit and we had some Mom talk. Talking about our kids and how much she will miss Trent when he leaves. MeMom was tired from this trip and once the crowd cleared she left. I was glad she made it out and that we had the opportunity to meet up.
I walked slowly down Main Street. I stopped in the hat shop to listen in on a phone conversation.

The phone is on the wall right across from this counter.

Moving forward to Frontierland for the wildest ride in the west.

A visit with some Pirates

I cut through the path from Adventureland to Back towards Liberty Square.

Apparently some spirits were abound.

Time for PP

Sm – It was still hot so I hopped on.

Back up to the hub and out.

Still lots of people in the park.

Not quite to the end of EMH but close.

The sad and long walk to the bus.

Luckily a bus was right there. Not too much of a crowd.

I am back at POP by 3am. I will be sleeping late Sat morning.
if you remember I started my day out at DHS at 7:10 am and now it was almost 3am.

Next up: A rude awakening

Now I have it all figured out.

My heart wanted to go play after the parade. I would have loved another round on Big Thunder Mountain. My body was not up for it, though. I have to give in to this bum leg sometime, or it pays me back in an evil way.

Since we have shortened our summer trip this year, I may see a 1-2-3 a.m. Magic Kingdom night trying to get it all in.

I had some insane amount of energy that day. I need some of that now but I think I only get it when I am in the World.

We don't want the bum leg to pay you back. I totally understand and I was happy to meet up with you, even if it was only for a short while.

Good thing about those late nights is that the sun is not beating down on you. I was able to play for a few hours and get in a lot of rides.

I have not even begun to count Mondays as I would get more depressed since it is so many. Still waiting on vacation approval to solidify everything.

Great pictures of the MSEP. You have me convinced that we have to do EMH this trip. You did a lot at MK that evening.

What an action-packed evening! The crowds looked pretty thick. No, I'm not talking about their comprehension level, but who knows?

I like your pictures of the parade from train station!

I can't even imagine getting a fastpass for 1:15 AM!

wow what a cool view of hte parade up there...and way to go for making it so long in the parks, i dont think i have ever cracked the 12:00 time before.

and you did alot for the EMH time as well.

MeMom suggested the spot for the meet. It was a great spot, you could see the floats come out and then start around the flagpole so you got some good angles.


If you ever get alone time for EMH do it. The crowds really thin and you can get a lot done in a short amount of time.
