The Side effects of the AP-Trip#6 Oct 10 Final thoughts and some TMI

I turn the corner and …

WOW . I have seen them in other’s reports. They are so right when everyone says pictures do not do them justice.

Ain't that the truth??!!!

Pat, I'm too far to comment on everything, but I did read it all and looked at all the great pictures. The Osbourne light pictures are great as are the hotel Christmas decorations. I'll try to stay on top of the updates now.

You and I would tour so perfectly together! Really we should plan a trip sometime. When I'm rich and hubby says yes, I'd say let's do it! I love, LOVE late nights wandering around- with mission in mind, and yet, yet, not hurrying or freaking if it doesn't all get done.

MNSSHP is my next priority, but as I read everyone's Christmas TRs I really think I'd enjoy that season too- well, except the crowds. Good eye for those HMs!!

:thumbsup2

i dont think i have seen the display at the boardwalk before, i really liked the chip and dale one.

and the roasted duck was funny as well....

Hi Pat,

I followed you over here to see what the secret was for seeing the Osborne lights without the crowds. Thanks for the tip and all of the pictures! :goodvibes

Wow, you got a lot done that evening. That picture where you appear to be holding up the "Merry Christmas" sign is THE BEST!

Oh Kathy - no worries here. You have so much on your plate right now.

I do appreciate you reading along.

Those lights are amazing. I hope to see them again this year.

I agree with planning a trip together sometime. :cool1:

MNSSHP was a hoot. I am planning on running the 5K Oct 1st. I am also trying for NYE. We were able to navigate the crowds and I never got that OMG it is so crowded feeling, we could always navigate.

Bonus - Drunks and duck fans /losers

I had fun looking and hunting for HM. I am curious to see how Marv captures the Boardwalk and what they did this year?

I am glad he went to the Monorail resorts instead of the Boardwalk. :lmao:

party::welcome:party: Thanks for coming over.

End of the night - best time. People naturally clearout and everyone gets giddy.

The CM's were dancing around and adding to the fun. The snow was coming down and it was peaceful, not chaotic.

Since it was the first time I was over ther I did not think to take pictues of the empty streets.

That is the one I trimmed for my avatar over the holidays.

The PP did a great job. I can't remember if she told me to put my arms up or not, I think she did. I remember it was a she. :confused3

You can see how empty the street was behind me. Most people who go for the flipping of the switch talk about shufflingdown the street.

I would love to see them flip on but not if it made me claustrophobic. :crowded:

A tree like this would go nicely in my OKW den next December. :)

I love all the little details on every different tree.

There seems to be someone missing right after Melissa. :snooty: I guess they were running a little short on chocolate writing icing? :confused3

I guess so. Seems like more than one person missing. :rolleyes1

Maybe we are all included at the bottom. They need a bigger scroll. ::yes::

We will have to look this year to see if they corrected that mistake. :goodvibes

Yeah, I guess we'll have to be satisfied with being in the generic 'you'. No special mention.

Do you suppose those are the names of cast members who were working on the decor?

Ahhhh, your Osborne Lights pictures made me ache to see them again! Aren't they just magical? I'm so glad you went out solo and spent so much time there enjoying them!

Really great updates! Loved the special PP pictures at Epcot. (not to be confused with the PP picture Glenn took at the fountain in Morocco) Glad you didn't break your touring partners, although we haven't seen your update for the next day yet, so maybe you did.... :rolleyes1

:woohoo: for solo trippin'! It is a lot of fun when it is you completely in control of when, where, what and how! You got a whole lot done in a fairly short time! :thumbsup2 And you're right, pictures do NOT do the Osborne lights justice!

:teacher: That may be a possibility. The names seems like they might be adults. They do not seem to be the kids of the newest generation. Aiden threw me but the Melissa And Heather to me seem like they "older" names.

Ahhhh, the Osborne Lights are so spectacular aren't they?! My biggest regret from our Christmas trip was not going over to DHS near closing time to see the lights without so many people around. We went soon after they turned them on for the night and it was PACKED! Far too many people to really take in all the details. Just another reason to go back :thumbsup2
