Pat, that is truly frightening! Like something out of a a Grade B slasher flick!! You have GOT to tell the story on this one!

I WISH I knew more!!!! We were just walking into EPCOT and I caught a glimpse of this. It was New Years Day so we saw many "strange" things that day. But that just kind of started us off.

That is not exactly a manly backpack either. There was a group with that guy so I am sure there is some story to it but sadly I never stopped the guy to ask.

I don't respond much on most TR's since I start to fall asleep before I can.
I do have to say though....reading your TR always has me cracking up! You find the funniest things to take pictures of and share.
I don't know what it is about going to WDW but you (meaning us not just you) just become brave and don't care what others are thinking when you take pictures of things you wouldn't normally take pictures of e.g., taking pics of a man in white capris and black dress shoes with dress socks.

It is pretty easy to disguise your picture taking as some of the more "acceptable" sights of Disney instead of those sights.


I almost hate to say it but I think we all encounter those sights everyday. I know I do. I just can't always take a picture of it.

Also...Your a machine woman! I can't believe how quickly you post!! When I get on the dis I look forward to another one of your posts.

I feel really behind since this trip was now over a year ago. I have plenty more " side effect" from teh past year so I need to get a move on.

Yes, we'll go with that! I think you have said something about using TGM, so I know it couldn't have anything to do with that......

Actually I don't use TGM, I have been going with the DDP ( Disney Dork Plan)

I think enough people use it, that the "hints" come out. But I just look at park hours and unlike TGM I think I don't avoid the EMH park totally, but rather try to "zig" while everyone else "zagged". It usually works but I do have a trip where it seemed the park was full of "ziggers"

And that picture of the guy with the backpack as you're heading into Epcot.....

I know !!!! That is why I had to share!!!!

The face in the backpack is a bit odd....! What in the world was it??? It must have been flat?! It's a strange lookin' one though!

I was and then . i could/can not tell if it is male of female but it sort of looks like a "Home Alone" face.

It also seemed to be on the inside flap of the backpack but I, for the life of me, can't figure out why.

After encountering the scary backpack face, we make it through bag check and the turnstiles.

We take the time to add to the photopass collection.
This photographer was just phoning it in. Well, either that or I just was not ready at all. Would have been nice for the photographer to warn me.
A and B are ready though, so I guess it is my my fault.

As we entered I am sure either I alone, or we all did went over to the Land for FP for Soarin’.
We walked back to the other side of future World to get TT in before the lines got unbearable.

A and B liked the ride. B has a convertible so going 65 around the track is like driving at home.

It was a dreary day and it was going to rain at any minute.

Heading back to the land to take in LWL.

We decide to take in late breakfast early lunch at Sunshine Seasons and come up with a plan. I check the weather and it will rain but it will move off and then it will begin to cool off.

After we eat we duck through Innoventions. We see that it is raining a bit and cooling off at the same time.

She looks a bit cold. What to do what to do. We could hop to another park but we still need to ride Soarin’ later and just need this rain to pass.


How do you spend about 30-45 min out of the rain in EPCOT?

Yup Ellen – we head into Ellen ( sorry no pictures ) and by the time we are out, the rain is over.

I must have snagged FP for TT because these are next in line.

Maybe I was tired from NYE but I did not take many pictures for most of the late morning and early afternoon.
I know we did M:S green because maybe it was after lunch? We did Honey I shrank the audience because I remember the 3-d effect was awful and really blurry.
We hit JII too because I remember playing with some of the computers.
After our second trip on TT it was about 2:45. We headed towards Mexico to see if we could catch Donald since B was all about Donald. That was her favorite. We saw Donald but he was leaving for a break.

We may have taken in SE and or a KP mission because I have no pictures until almost 4pm. We did do both and judging by the gaps in photos I did not take pictures.

In any event, it was getting chilly, we looked for somewhere to eat as it is now 4pm. We settle on China. We order and sit as inside as we could get. The CS in China as you may know is open on one side.

This is where we encounter one of the treasures of Disney World. It is not an exhibit or ride or show. In fact, it not the kind of thing you can put on your touring plans. It cannot be planned, you just have to be lucky.

That morning was not so "picture full" probably due to the weather, the weather turning colder and being just plain tired I guess.

The " three evils" picture works best with the 3 of us. I was try to encourage the PP to help us get some interesting shots instead of teh same old stand and smile shots. That comes up later too!
