Hello all!

I type from my comfy study spot in the student union at the University of Missouri. It is finals weeks, and I should be studying the different kinds of bacteria that give you food poisoning or the theories of nursing, but like many college students, I like to procrastinate. In six days, my mom (Cindy), my aunt (Karen) and uncle (Rob) will depart for a 7 day/ 6 night vacation to Walt Disney World!

Here's some background:
Mom and I, Disney geeks since both of us were little, haven't been to WDW since 2007. Karen and Rob, annual passholders, DVC, and our favorite Disney buddies, will be joining us for our trip. We call ourselves the Shutterbugs because we love to take pictures! It's also what I titled my last trip report, and the name just stuck. I texted Karen today and she told me she was already packed! Now there's dedication.

We'll be arriving next Sunday, the 19th, for a magical stay at the Boardwalk Villas. This has always been my dream hotel! I cannot imagine a more special way to spend the holidays!

We have a loose game plan that's flexible. My personal focus (and I'm sure my companions agree with me) is Christmas festivities. :santa: Unfortunately, we do not have MVMCP tickets, but there's plenty of other things to see! Resort hopping is a favorite pastime of ours, and we're particularly excited to see the campers' decorations at Fort Wilderness. We're camping fans and we're already planning our next trip to WDW to be in our camper! I haven't seen the Spaceship Earth since refurbishment, so that's a must (to name a few). So many things! So little time!

Now, I know what all of y'all are really interested in is the food. This is our first time on the Disney Dining Plan, and about 174 days ago, I was meticulously planning our meals (highlight of my summer). Here's the agenda:
Sunday: afternoon arrival; used the point from this day for our deluxe meal later
Monday: Cape May Cafe breakfast
Tuesday: Liberty Tree Tavern lunch
Wednesday: Chefs de France dinner (Karen highly recommended this one)
Thursday: Jiko dinner (so psyched; this is going to make up for the cafeteria food I've been eating all semester)
Friday (X-mas Eve): Biergarten (what could be more fitting?)
Saturday: Kouzzina breakfast (we're paying out of pocket; this is our departure day and it's Christmas; we couldn't leave without a great X-mas breakfast)

Food, fun and festivities! It's been a particularly rough semester, so I'm planning on having tons of fun with the family in a place where I can just PLAY! :bounce:

Just wanted to drop in and say I like your photo and can't wait to read the trip report
