The show last night on Food Network

I thought it was really good!

I had NO idea Pizzafari had such an elaborate pizza-making machine, and I was also amazed that the Mickey pancakes were formed with 3 squirts of dough and not one specially shaped squirter.

And those cakes were GORGEOUS!

Did anyone else see the show?

We saw it and changed our PS's to include Sci Fi at MGM, looked awesome!

Yes I seen it too. I have overlooked Sci Fi several times, but I think on are next trip it will be on the must do list. But I wonder how many years ago it was filmed. Cause the appetizers in France are not $4.95 any more. More like $14.95

I loved the show last night. We have already made a ADR at Sci-Fi for our August trip and now I am really looking forward to it. It just looks so fun!

DBF is excited about Chef Mickey's for breakfast. He also made me add a ADR for California Grill after seeing the show. I was glad he watched it with me b/c he wasnt very excited about the food until last night!

I agree, that pizza machine was very cool too.

Hi. We saw it too. My girls watched it with me - they liked it too. Those cakes were beautiful. That pizza making machine was really cool. It made me really want to be there and eat Our wait is almost over - we go in July - yeah

The SciFi is very cool, we went there every trip for 5 years until our "flagship" MGM restaurant changed to the PrimeTime Cafe. You can't beat the PTC for kitchy waitstaff. Brother Bob and Sister Sally are in trouble with Mom, and so their punishment is making sure the houseguests get fed properly! "Mom's gonna be mad if you don't finish that meatloaf!"

It's a great restaurant. Both of them are, really, but after so many trips to the SciFi I just got kindof tired of it. The food is better at the PTC, though. All the SciFi really has is sandwiches, while the PrimeTime has meatloaf, fried chicken, etc.

We've eaten at Sci Fi a few times. It's one of our favorites and we're going again in a couple weeks. When you walk into that huge room and look around it's amazing because the entry is nothing.
Those cakes were amazing. The chef said the most anyone spent was $15000 but I doubt that any of the ones they showed last night were much cheaper.
