The Short, Short Version of Our Trip

Well, we're back after spending 6 days in the park (Aug. 9 - 14). First and foremost, I want to thank all of you on the DIS Boards for the hints and tips that made this our best visit so far. My DD, DisneyLover4Ever! is going to post a full trip report, so here are some of the highlights to our trip that came off the DIS:

1. Ate at Bengal BBQ - Tried everything - YUM!!!
2. Used MM to it's full advantage (PP first, Then Toads, Dumbo, Tea Cups, etc.). Allowed us to walk right into the front of the Red Mark VII!
3. Brought our own water bottles into the park. Saved almost $200!
4. Ate at Trattoria twice - Excellent!
5. Ate at Carnation Café - Excellent!
6. Saw Billy Hill & The Hillbillies for the first time - Very Fun!!
7. Ate at the Corn Dog Castle - Yum!!!
8. Collected Fast Passes to the fullest advantage, utilizing disconnected machines, and times. Works very well if you are disciplined about watching your times and picking them up accordingly.
9. Got a birthday button for my DD who turned 11 in the park - Magical!!
10. Wore our LGMH's and saw one other DIS member during MM on Tuesday. Don't know who it was though...
11. Upgraded to AP's after MM so we wouldn't miss out on it.
12. Rode on many rides during the shows when the lines were shorter.

That's all I can think of for now, but I'm sure I have forgotten a few things. Thanks again all you DISers out there!!!

Hey, I saw you too!! We were coming down the stairs on TSMM and there was a woman in front of me with a black back pack and about 4 (?) LGMH's on it. I almost said something to you, but decided that I didn't want to chance having you look at me like I was crazy!!!

What did you use on your LGMH's to keep them from folding, or getting wet?

"Lime Green Mickey Head"

These are paint sample cards that can be picked up at Home Depot. They are shaped like Mickey Heads. You can peel them off and create a tag of sorts to let other DISers know that you are a DIS member. Someone else can post a picture of them, as I don't have one.
