One of my favorite things to point out to fellow riders on POTC is the shooting star. It's seen shortly after launch on the roof (sky?) above the large pine tree close to Blue Bayou. It can be seen approx every five seconds. I'm often surprised how few people know about it. Heck, i hadn't noticed it myself till about six months ago. Anyone else ever notice it?

One of the (many) things I love about DL are the details and little secrets. Always find to see/find them.

I'm often surprised by how many people don't know about it. I point it out to DL vets regularly and they tell me they've never seen it. If I'm lucky, they'll point out one or two or their favorite things that I've never noticed. In fact, it happened yesterday :-).

We've always noticed it, my kids like to point it out. I'm always looking closely for the little details. Love hearing about new things to look for on trips.

My granddaughter tries to count how many times the star shoots across while we're dining at the Blue Bayou. :)

One fun detail we're planning to seek out this trip is the door to the Little Man's house.

We noticed it for the first time last month. We rode pirates a couple times after that, and then we couldn't unsee it. I wondered how in the world we never noticed it before!
It is a nice detail! :tink:

I will be able to look for it in 6 days! Didn't notice it on my 2 previous trips and i have even eaten waterside at BB.

Thank you! I never knew about this. I'll have to look in December when we go.

It says.."The little man of Disneyland’s home is at the base of the tree that holds the Indiana Jones ride sign." Is this where you found it?

We haven't seen it yet - we forgot to look for it on our last trip in December, and our next trip isn't until... WEDNESDAY! Only two more days. :)

That's where my Granddaughters and I found it in August. It was fun telling them the story and then looking for and finding it.
