We're doing a recruitment poster for our firm - here at Univ. of Tenn. School of Architecture for their interview fair later this spring. The only point of contention is that one of our candid 'office' pictures was taken during a Blues Traveler concert (which the stage is 25 feet from the office front windows). In this one picture we had the receptionist desk set up as a bar, with all of our wine/booze/beer bottles set up (it is featured prominently in the photo). We're concerned that some of our potential employees would be under 21, so we decided we'll have to pull that photo from our board.

Key to a fun workplace for me is having no co-workers!

I worked at a place where I daydreamed about getting a Xanax prescription, and walking around each morning, dropping one into the coffee cups of whom needed them most.

Then I thought perhaps a gumball-like dispenser, right at the front door - with Xanax, Prozac, Valium and the like, would be a better option.

I need a new job. The best we get are bourbon balls at Christmas. I wonder if they make vodka in jugs that fit in the water coolers?? I might have see about switching it out if so.

Apparently our manager thought it was inappropriate to have these little goodies at the front desk. So our receptionist hid the box that said liquors and put them out anyway!
