The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure! COMPLETE 4/12

We got to the loading area and to my delight Mom did not chicken out, she got on the ride! :woohoo: We were seated in the middle section of the train which was good for Mom's first time, I don't think she would have enjoyed the front!.

Yay, Beth! :woohoo:

We decided to go see Finding Nemo:The Musical, good decision too as it started to POUR as we entered the theatre. Now we had seen the show back in 2007 and weren't overly thrilled by it. Well I liked it much more this time around. There was nothing different about it so no idea why I didn't like it then but like it now. I am just fickle I guess..

I'm looking forward to seeing it this time - your pictures are fantastic! :goodvibes

I love our ride photo, especially the people sitting in the row in front of us, hilarious!

.

LOL! You would've been LYAO at the picture of us - Grumpy & Tigger were lovin' it and laughing; Mickey made me cover his eyes for the whole ride basically, so it's me bent over sideways trying to make sure he couldn't see anything, as he requested! :rotfl2:

BTW, is that dad in the front forcibly turning his child's head so he has to look at the dinosaur?!

We exited from Dinosaur and guess what!? It was still pouring! So on went the ponchos. :rotfl: Mom had to take a bathroom break and I saw Pluto out for photos in the covered area next to the bathrooms. It looked like a seating area for a restaurant. Nobody was out there though and Pluto was all by himself. So I saw Mom heading towards the bathroom so I went over to him to wait for her out of the rain..

More rain :sad2:

Finally I got my hands on our churro and went to join Mom. .

I'm glad you were finally able to get that churro! :rotfl:

Well sadly the Churro was nothing exciting, definitely not worth the aggravation I had just gone through to get it. At least I was able to check it off my list of things to try and I needed something in my stomach anyways since it had been several hours since I had last eaten anything.

Yeah, I don't really dig them either :confused3

 I think they were just posing, well at least I hope they were. :rotfl:

oh ok, then I won't try one :) Unless I'm starving hehe

;) There are much better things to spend your $2.50 on.

Lesa I didn't see Nemo twice I went back to see it as I couldn't fit in the day I was at AK!! Anyway I am glad I did !! :banana:When I can get the girls attention for long enuff (teens :lmao:)I will show them EE and Nemo !!:thumbsup2

There is some funny stuff since I was able to read last! :lmao::lmao: Great updates and pics (especially the royalty pics :rotfl:).

I'm so proud of your mom!!!!! She really gave caution to the wind for this trip. I hope she did enjoy the more thrilling rides.

You have some great photos of the 2 of you. I wouldn't have known how to pose with Louie either.

I can't believe those people cut in front of you.

Thank you Leesa for the link of the 4th of July Fireworks at WDW. My kids are getting ready to go out, and they came to see what I was watching.

I told them, this is why I love WDW.

Ahh.

Where I live, volunteer fire fighters will have fireworks, no music, tons of mosquito's, we usually end up sitting in our truck, because of mosquito's and that's it.

Thanks for the 4th of July wishes.

Yay, Beth!!!! :banana::banana:

I'm glad that she went! Glad you got to stay out of the rain and so forth. ;) We are just not show people - I saw Lion King in 2000 without my family, but as a group we don't see them. :confused3

Yep she surprised me, I really didn't think that she would go on the thrill rides. Then again we all gave her such a hard time not believing her before the trip that she probably rode them to show us up!

Yep, I hate line cutters! It is not hard to be polite!

I just wish our ride photo had turned out better, it wasn't even worth buying it was so dark in our row. Oh well, at least we had the rednecked Splash Mountain pictures as proof of her bravery.

I would never have let those rude people cut me, but I'm a rude NYer when I need to be.

LOVE the dinosaur pic! And how in heck did you get such good pics on everest?!

Finally caught up! Your pictures of Nemo and Everest are great! Finding Nemo is one of our favorite shows...we saw it twice during our first trip that it was open, we bought the CD, we all learned the words to the whole show (even DD7, Allison, who was only 5 at the time...she makes a great Nemo!) She used Nemo's first song to audition for a musical at the Children's Theatre, and was the youngest person cast! It also helped that she's so cute ;) OK, so we were a bit obsessed with the Nemo thing...we're ok with that!

What a cute story!

It took me a while, but I am caught up. You get so many good pics, I really enjoy seeing them all!

What awesome pictures of the hippo!! :thumbsup2

Your mom is turning out to be quite the daredevil on this trip - good for her!

You need to come down to VA Beach and visit Lessa. I'll take you to a place that makes AMAZING churros! The ones you had look quite boring.

Hmmm, a secret Va Beach dessert spot I don't know about, sounds like a plan to me! ;)
