I just saw where my card was charged for the Feb FOTM, Stamp kit, and 365 stamp set

So, I figured I'd start a monthly thread for sharing...and maybe I'll be more productive :)

They should have shipped to us "prepay" gals yesterday. Means we should get something by the weekend. ::yes::

Have you looked at the new challenges?

I am so totally frustrated with the site. Remember I was having trouble before? Well, it still doesn't recognize me, and I've gotten 2 new passwords, and now I'm locked out! GRRRRRRRRR!!!

OK, I think I got it now. Love the page sketch challenge. I'm going to see if I can use these challenges for my CJ's. The papers are already being used.

Susie, it all started when The Scrap Room came up with some stamps for the 365 project. I think it was Tinker that first posted it. Well, I really liked the January kit, and ordered. The Feb kit is just as nice. Tinker and AWM are also members. They have challenges on the site for members, and they have some really nice add-ons to the monthly kits.

I just ordered the stamp set.

Bwaahaa!
Come on over to the dark side - we have cookies. :thumbsup2

I'm thinking I need to join more paper kit clubs.

More with them, or different companies?

I'm thinking different companies.

Rebecca belongs to one. She said she really likes their stuff. I need to get the name again from her and see if I can con, uhm, I mean, talk my DH into letting me get even more stuff.

Wish you all could have seen his face when he saw the ribbon gutters full. He said he had NO idea I had that much stuff.

Although, I have to say it was nice to have something delivered, all kitted up for me :teeth:

Mine is ClubSEI and of course it focuses on their paper. My Feb kit is on the way. I will be getting 18 speciality papers (glitter, foil, shimmer, and maybe velvet), 4 lace papers, 2 textured cardstock, diecuts, epoxy stickers, frames and tags, alpaha stickers, ribbons and brads, and 2 die cut projects 9frames I think). It features their new Lovebirds line this month. Including shipping it is about $32 for the Mega kits which I will get. They will have about 5-6 layouts or projects that they have full color instructions for- occasionally I use them but not too often. They also have a mini kit on the opposite months from when i get it and that one is about $25. Next months mini kit is the 6by6 Bridgeport line album with extras. They always have extras- I think i could have added the stamps, rub-ons, and some other paper or project if I had wanted to this month. About amonth or 2 after the projects come in they usually have a challenge for using them.

I used their paper at CKC in a class. It's very elegant looking. It was also super thick.

I am so out of touch:sad1:

I have NO IDEA what you are even talking about :confused3

Instead of YOU going out to different stores and buying paper, buying ribbon, buying buttons, buying stickers or other embellishements - a company does it for you. They send you items that already match each other to form page kits. Most will also send you examples of how to make pages with them.
There are lots of them. They usually send them out to you monthly. You can prepurchase a set amount of months or you can buy them as you see them.

For those of us who are pattern paper matching challenged  , this takes the guess work out what matches and what doesn't. It's also great if you live where there isn't much of a choice to buy from.

This would be good for you because you can't get out to go shopping. It will come straight to you. :thumbsup2

My ups man was just here, but there wasn't a Scrap-Room package :guilty:

It does sound cool but I think I better use up some of my stockpile first Mrs Me has put a NO BUYING clause onto scrapbook supplies ( unless I see something I absolutely HAVE to get:goodvibes )

I got mine- the diecut projects were actually a tiny little album to put together- it is very cool- I will have to see if I can make a file on my craftrobo to cut and score the pieces I need. The album has 6 pages and holds 6 photos about 1.5 inches square. The second project is 2 little valentines boxes with hearts and doves on the top- also very cute.

I love this paper- It will be fantastic for photos at the Grand floridian this summer for our anniversary.

I am so glad that you all like the Scrap-room - you won't be disapointed.:upsidedow
