I braved the mall yesterday morning. As we passed the Salvation Army kettle, the rep had a sign that he was flipping back and forth. On one side it had "ding" on the other side it had "dong." :lmao:

Apparently the mall prohibits them from using the bell. I already donated at WalMart and Shop Rite. This time when I dropped a dollar in, I told him that his creativity had to be rewarded. :teeth:

That is creative but silly for the mall to ban the SA bell! How UNCHRISTMAS can you get!

I would donate to the kettle with a funny sign like that. I personally HATE the bells and would LOVE to see the bell gone, but I have no issues with the kettle!

If you heard the flute player at a KMART by us you would look for a bell ringer or a sign. DH would laugh at me, I would only donate if he would stop playing.

We were at a Kmart last week and the lady was singing Christmas Carols - and man she could SING.

We don't usually donate to the Salvation Army but I gave the little one my pocket change to put in as payment for the entertainment.
