Sorry to read that you've put a hold on the HM room; but given your list of other items, you and Fran have made the right decision. I'm sure that when you move in and figure it out, it'll be back on the table.

The place is looking great with the furniture that you have there already. Can't wait to see which pieces go in which rooms; and to see the new cabinet.

Gale and his mob are doing a great job. All the updates look fantastic and meticulously finished.

Are those bunnies going to be there still when your cats move in?
I would hope that they know better than to come into a place full of sharp claws.

Yeah a move in date! That's exciting but I know you have lots to do. Good choice to raincheck HM room for now. Why put stress on yourselves for something that is suppose to be a nice addition. Much better to wait, take your time and enjoy it later. Cool cabinets.

We use to keep 2 bunnies. We named them Dixie and Vegas. One of them was white with patches like the one on your photo. That was Dixie. Vegas was brown. We kept them in a hutch but we have already had a laugh at you using this term for a dining room furniture! A rabbit house with an extended run. We enjoyed them. Gave them rabbit food and left over veg. Let them run about the garden sometimes they were really cute.

You could always build them a rabbit house and keep them as pets. We had dogs as well and they never attacks our bunnies. Alison and Fran's petting zoo lol..

Aw man, i'm sure you're a little disappointed about the HM room, but you guys are definitely making a wise decision. It will happen eventually and when it does happen, it will be AMAZING!

Yup Thursday. It's not like we're moving ALL in, just our beds the kitties and a few other necessities. Fran says that we'll have everything else moved over in three weeks. yeah right! I can't even imagine how long it will take us to get the rest of our stuff over here! I'll give it a fighting chance though, but I need one slug day after Thursday to enjoy the pool, Jacuzzi, BBQ and just chill with the kids!

I think your decision to put the HM room on hold is smart. You are right, much more important to get the old place renovated and start generating income. You guys deserve to just get settled in and breathe.

I think the HM room would have put us over the edge with moving. I really need to sit back and breathe and we haven't even moved in. The bunnies have got to go, but we have to do it humanely. We think they were Easter presents that went awry.

Wow, your moving date is getting so close. I hope that everything goes like clockwork. I think it is a wise decision to put the Haunted Mansion room on hold. Those bunnies are so cute.

Actually it's Gale who is in charge, but Ryan is pretty sharp himself. We are very lucky to have such sharp guys working for us!

Yeah, the bunnies knew we were suckers. Especially when they scarfed down the carrots we gave them today. I just hope we don't get a divorce on Thursday!

Thanks, we need all the help we can get with the move. The bunnies have no idea we have a dozen cats all dying to get outside! not sure how all this wildlife stuff is going to go down.

Gale's guys are still working away and we'll be in there while they are finishing up so it will be awkward. Also making sure they don't let the cats out will be a challenge. I have more pictures to post here!

We are NOT building a hutch!!!!! There is just not enough room or time for us to spend time with Olga, the herd and bunnies! I'm stressing on the kitties moving in!!!!!!

Thanks! I can't wait to use the tub either! Fran said that between Home Depot, the Disney Store and eBay that's where she found all those knobs. She has been collecting them for years.

I am a little disappointed about the HM room, but there is just so much going on, it was causing both our heads to turn around and around and it wasn't good.

I'm so glad you're coming next month and will see the house. It will still be a mess, but starting to take shape with hopefully the big cabinet in place and some figures already in there. We need to get some glass shelves made of some of the cabinets to be complete.

I agree about the HM room. Sometimes it's the pits to have to be a grown up and make smart decisions. But I agree that is the right one, maybe not the one you want but still the right way to go.

You will feel overwhelmed for awhile, moving isn't easy, but slowly but surly it will all fall into place and you can and will enjoy your new house.

Your main concern is the babies. Hopefully that is an easy adjustment. As long as you and Fran are there, they will be ok. Maybe not right away but they will adjust!!
