Yesterday we all very sad because this meant vacation is over and it back to school again. the back from Disney blues were hitting us all really hard.

My 2DS were just so sad yesterday and then we got a nice little gift and found out we are going back to Disney in February! :cool1 ::cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

They were so giddy with joy when we told them. (Ok I was squealing with delight!)

Walking into to school today DS7 told me "Mom, I can only back to school if we are really going to Disney in 6 weeks!" The first thing he told his teacher was "Don't worry I am going back to Disney in 6 weeks!"   and I was able to come home and book something!!

I am proud to say my boys have the Disney gene!!

Nothing makes going back to school/reality easier when you find out you get to back to Disney!

Happy news! Isn't that great! Similiar thing happened to me for February 2008. Totally unexpected. It was awesome. Congrats!

ITA!

DS and I were sad because all the christmas decorations are coming down (including outside lights that he loves to look at on our way home) and so today we are switching over to DISNEY excitement mode! Only 2 more months to go (and a few days but whos counting?!):woohoo:

Time to review all my ADRs, start the packing/shopping list, and switch from Holiday music to Disney music! Nothing like a little Main Street BGM or Epcot entrance loop to help you get back to the real world. :cool1: :cool1:

Sorry, meant to start a new thread, not respond to this one.

Isnt that the truth? I was just telling my husband that I absolutely cannot face the year without knowing that we are going on vacation soon.

I think it is healthy, though. We have made a deal that we are dieting like mad until we get there and then we will treat ourselves with ordering tonga toast and various other things that are bad for us.

This helps us get through the next couple of months for sure!

Thanks everyone!

Jennifer that is the same thing we did. We have a deal to eat healthy and loose weight and treat ourselves to Tonga Toast to Disney! :cutie:

That is awesome!

Our trip is still far, far away. I am focusing on my training for the National Half Marathon in March, though, which is two days after my birthday.

That is awesome! One of the best ways to get over the Disney Blues is planning another trip. Sounds like you are well on your way. :)

Totally feel the same way! We're heading down in about 2 weeks and I'm counting the days!

I was just thinking this morning that my post-holiday blues have to be set aside - a certain princess in our family will turn four in less than six weeks, and in four months and a week, we'll be heading back to WDW for our next family adventure! No wonder the years go by so fast...it's such a blessing to have so much to look forward to this year. And next, with PCC 3.0 booked!

Oh Kim I am so jealous could spit nails! : ) I hope you have a great time!

I want a life like yours! Unexpected Disney Trips are more than I could hope for. I just wish the economy would stablilze so I could plan a trip. The years are ticking by, my older son is edging closer and closer to leaving home, and there's no hope for a Disney trip in our near future. Sigh.

You crack me up, Kim. Who was sadder for school to begin again - you or the kids? ;)

Yes I spent my morning planning. I am a little bit excited.

Don't spit nails...just join us! :confused3

Oh I was so sad but the boys cracked me up they were so sad this morning. Korben's first words when I picked him up (and he was covered in mud and after he told me he lost his hat) was "When are we going to Disney!"

Any advise on how I break it to the teachers again? Our school has a work @ home policy, so they can miss school...but I know that teacher look I will get. :3dglasses

That is so cool! have a great time our trip is still 11 months away :sad2:

It will come fast. I am just still shocked we are going again. I told DH this is better than winning the lottery!
