I recenty read that the El Rio Del Tiempo ride that is in the Mexican Pavilion is going to be changed. They are going to do a new ride in its place that will have disney characters that were in an old Disney movie (I think called the 3 caballeros) Donald Duck is a main charecter.

Anyway -

1.) Do you like the El Rio Del Tiempo ride the way it is?

2.) Is there a part of El Rio Del Tiempo that you liked best?

3.) Will you be happy that the ride will now be different?

1.) Do you like the El Rio Del Tiempo ride the way it is?
yes! i love it! i always look forward to it when we're at Epcot!
2.) Is there a part of El Rio Del Tiempo that you liked best?
um, i just love the atmosphere around it and how it tells about Mexico.
3.) Will you be happy that the ride will now be different?
no! its a like small world but only tells about mexico. the kids tell the story. now that donald duck will be there, it'll probally be a joke. but thats just me. i personally think they should leave it how it is!

it was one of my favourite rides when we went to Epcot :) it hardly ever had a line (actually never but we once had to wait 30 seconds :-O)

the song! it's the best i hope they don't change it
3.) Will you be happy that the ride will now be different?
i'm not pleased it's changing especially that they're adding characters from a movie over 50 years ago. But i'll still ride it hopefully the lines won't be that long

- of course!

2.) Is there a part of El Rio Del Tiempo that you liked best?

- the pyramid. That was amazing. Then the mini-small world.

3.) Will you be happy that the ride will now be different?

- No, probably not.

1.) yes of course

2.) no i just likedit as an air conditioned place to rest with a really unique nice atmosphere

3.) i dont know. i wouldnt have though they'd change it as rides around WS are about the culture and stuff of the country not about disney movies 'done' in the country. although i am a sucker for donald duck

I really liked it the what that it was too. I liked the first part with the mayan temple and I liked the fake fireworks on the ceiling at the end of the ride.

But, who knows, maybe the new ride will be really good. I just wish they would build a new ride AND leave the old one too. I don't understand why they often get rid of an old one to make a new one. There is SO much land that Disney owns that I don't know why they wouldn't leave the classic rides that so many people like.:confused3

I hated it, I didn't pay any attention to it. It just like a cultural version of It's A Small World.

Nothing stood out really, it was boring.

I don't really care, I won't be going back on it either way.

No. I dont like it when rides are closed. I wish it was open. The fog part, you can inhale it then exhale it and it looks cool. Ill probably like it. Three Cabelleros was a great movie. Atleast it isn't another stupid Pirates ride.

::yes::

give me small world anyday over el rio del tiempo. i think the three cabelleros will be cuter.

i didn't mind it as much... i like the photo booth thingie that you tape yourself then send it to your friends and family.... :confused3 it wasn't the greatest and it didn't have much "flare" to it

I like el rio de tiempo. It's kind of like a weird family tradition. We eat in mexico every time we go to wdw, and since there's never a line, we ride it while we wait for our food. I probably wouldn't mind if they changed it, but I don't see why they should since they're trying to highlight the culture of mexico, and the 3 cabelleros just barely scratches the surface of mexican culture.

how can they change something that interesting

donnald, you drop 27 points

I enjoy El Rio de Tiempo, its kind of a family tradition we always go on it.
In like the mexican atmosphere, adn the fact it is airconditioned and there is never a line.

They are probably chanign it because there never is a line and to attract MORE people, like they need mroe people, but anyways. I'll ride it once and see from there.

Yes, I understand that there are rides that have shorter lines and are not the top rides but I still think that they could build the new ride and also leave the old one too. More diversity = More fun.
