Hey Connie. It is hard to catch up at times. If I'm away for more than one day it takes forever to catch back up. I scanned those pictures and it took forever to get the thing figured out. I just got the new scanner printer and it isn't as easy as my old one.

Hope you are having a good day :thumbsup2. I'm cleaning and doing laundry.

I'm ready for Sunday, I think :lmao:.

Not a BAD diser, just a BUSY diser. I have got to add some plans on my PTR, I just hate making park plans this far out because we usually just wing it :lmao:

I have pretty much planned every day of our trip this time. I want to make the most of it since Mama's coming along. I don't plan what we are going to do during each day, just where we are going and where we'll eat that particular night. I'm trying to get the most bang for Mama's buck (well, our buck too since we're paying for our vacation but you know what I mean.)

I know what you mean, girl. I take our income tax return and spend it on Disney. Next year we won't get back as much because Amanda won't be in college so we can't deduct that. I guess we could just put the money in the bank we have used to help her with college, but it is hard to leave it there.......:lmao:. I plan our meals and we usually go to the park I have our ADRs for, but this time we only have 2 ADRs that are in the parks.

Thanks to my good friend Christie I have ordered these for our trip.

I am concerned that my leg will start giving me trouble when we are there so I want to do what ever I can to help prevent that. Last week I had shin splints from all the walking I have to do at work. I don't want to get to Disney and end up needing to get a wheelchair or scooter. Now, Dallas would love for me to get the scooter so he could ride it :lmao:. I am such a stubborn person I had a very hard time giving in and using one while I was wearing my brace. I will take the brace with me so if I start hurting I will have it.

I am really missing Disney right now. I keep dreaming about it. If Dale had a long weekend coming up I would talk him into going, but he doesn't :sad2:.

I saw these when we were in Hot Springs for that stupid idiotic dumb bunny diamond scavenger hunt we went to. Ooh sorry, can you tell I'm still ticked off about that trip?

I thought they looked pretty neat and I actually wondered if they would help Mama's knee. I'm still pondering getting her a scooter. Hunter wants her to use one so we can get to the front of the lines.:rolleyes1

I've been using mine walking on the treadmill here at home, and they're WONDERFUL!! I wore them at SW a few weekends ago, and they were comfy. They're definedly different, but it puts your weight in the middle of your foot, not on the heel or the ball. And it's easier on joints like hips, knees, and ankles. I have a bad ankle too, and it doesn't hurt when wearing these, nor does my hips, which is a miracle for me!!! I'm always hurting!! I wear them everywhere now....so I know you'll enjoy yours!!!!

I'm afraid of what our taxes will look like this year. Normally, we get lots of money back but this past year, because of the Obama stimulus thing, my federal withholding went down by half. On top of that, we have a business which means we have self employment taxes. I hope like heck, we at least break even.

I know I responded to your post. I just don't know where it went :confused3. I would be very upset about the Hot Springs trip too because that is money you could have used for Disney.

I can't wait to get the shoes so I can try them out. I will wear them so I can break them in before Disney. I will let you know how my leg feels after I wear them a while. I don't want to get a scooter or wheelchair, but I will before I let it ruin my trip. We had a wheelchair for Dallas one year because his asthma was really acting up and they wanted to let us go to the front of the line every time, we only did it at KS.

I was thinking about what you said and thought it couldn't hurt to try them out. I just worry that my leg is going to give me fits from all the walking. Heck it hurts right now and I am just sitting on the couch.

I honestly didn't notice any more money in my check. I paid in over $5000 myself :scared1:. I have to pay Alabama state tax every year and we usually break even on Mississippi tax. We have to file both since we live in Alabama and I work here and Dale works in Mississippi. I know the IRS hits ya'll with the self employment taxes. One of my co-workers had to deal with that when her husband had his own business. He had to pay unemployment taxes, state taxes, federal taxes, workers comp and something else AND he worked alone :sad2:.

It looks like the harder we try, the less we have :scared1:.

I totally forgot that Dale worked in Mississippi. I remember telling John about him working in Lucedale. We stop at a little store there and pee on the way to Disney. You know me....I know where those bathroom stops are. :lmao:

:lmao: I know the feeling. I could tell you where every bathroom is on our way to Disney too :lmao:. Do ya'll come down Hwy. 98?

Yep, we start on I-20 and when we get to Jackson, Mississippi, we hit Hwy. 49 until we reach Hattiesburg. Then, we get on Hwy. 98. That stretch from Hattiesburg to Mobile is sooooo boring. I think it's even more boring because it's dark by that time and we can't really sight see.

It wouldn't matter if it were day. There is nothing to see but trees. The Chevron station in Lucedale is about it :lmao:. I grew up in Wilmer so you go through there too. Dale said it may be a few miles further, but when you hit Lucedale if you get on Hwy 63 south it will take you to Pascagoula and it is 4 laned all the way it takes you right to I-10 you can't miss it.

Dale said he has been through your town. He would drive home when he lived in Dallas and would come that way.

Well I guess I better get to sleep I have to work the next two days. I may be sparse on here for the next couple of days.

I hope everybody has a great week:wizard:

Hi Dana, those shoes look super comfy!!! I hope they treat you good in Disney :goodvibes I'm really missing Disney right now too!! I can't believe I have 7 months to wait! But, last year when the trip was only a few days away I remember thinking, i'd rather be planning it and waiting than it being here and over in a week. Happy things to look forward to!!

Have a nice few days at work!

I feel the same way Pam. I get so caught up in the planning when it gets here it is kinda depressing knowing it will be over soon. I guess that is why our July trip was so good, we didn't plan it to death, we just went and had a good time. I hope the shoes are going to be good I have heard some good things about them so we shall see :thumbsup2
