Thanks Michelle. It was really nice to get back to work even if we were so busy.

According to our weather guy our high for Saturday is only going to be 48. I had the A/C on today here. We have at least had a winter this year. Last year we may have gotten down below freezing 4 or 5 times the whole season. I hope ya'll don't have any bad weather, especially bad enough to lose electricity, but an unexpected day off work is always nice .

It is nice to go back to work. My oldest daughter is planning on going into nursing. She's just a sophomore in HS, but she's been saying this for about three years. She wants to work in the nursery at a hospital.

As I write this, I am sitting at home enjoying my snow/sleet day. NO SCHOOL!!

Hi Dana! It's been a busy crazy week for me too. Glad you made it through and also very happy to hear you were feeling better on Thursday. Blondie brownies sound so yum. I'm staying away from that stuff right now but I think you made my mouth water talking about it.

Hey Leanne, I hope you have a good weekend to make up for the crazy week. I worked around the house yesterday and today I am kinda taking an off day. The brownies were so good. I want another one, but I am holding off. I gained weight when I was out of work so I'm trying to lose it back. I lost 2.5 lbs over the 3 days I worked .

Your daughter wants my job......... I love working in the nursery. I have worked in several areas of the hospital, but I have been in the nursery for 9 years now and I don't want to work anywhere else. I hope your daughter goes into nursing. There is a nursing shortage and it is only going to get worse.

Well, Dale and I got our groceries bought, and the rains came. When we were heading to the checkout we could hear how hard it was raining. We got soaked putting the stuff in the car.

The Mardi Gras parade was canceled for tonight so it will roll behind tomorrow nights parade. The Senior Bowl is tomorrow and, even thought it is not suppose to rain, it is going to be cold. I can't imagine how nasty the players are going to be. The South always wears white and they are going to be horrible . The last time we went to the Senior Bowl Tyler was little so it has been about 17-18 years. It seemed as if it rained every time I went . It seems like I have to work when everything is going on anyway . Looks like Tebow's draft status has fallen too since he has been here.

I have to work this weekend and I hope we aren't too busy, I was slap give out after M, T, W this week.

I know what you mean about it raining every time you go. It seems like every time we pull out our rain gear for a ballgame, there's a Bama vs. Southern Miss ticket in the pocket. They used to show up on our schedule every year and it seemed as if it always rained at that game.

Hey Michelle, I'm sorry I'm so late answering you here. I am at work so I am just now signing on. The game is on the NFL Network though and the kickoff was at 3pm today. I hope you got to see the game.

I have been to one Southern Miss game, and after sitting in the clouds, I haven't been back. I am terrified of heights and I wouldn't even move during the whole game .

I had a pretty decent weekend for it to be a work weekend. I haven't really started my shopping for our May trip yet. I am off this weekend, but I don't know if we are going shopping or not. I know we won't be doing much of anything Sunday because of the Super Bowl.

WOW a new car how exciting!!! I just want to get the cars we have paid off..... I do want another minivan though. I miss my van so much. I can't wait to hear about your new car.

From all the reports I have seen, Tebow did really bad. The NFL coaches have said that he wouldn't be a good pro player and I guess he showed Saturday.

Wow, lookit ya'll!!! Ya'll look sooooo good!! Well, we're waiting on the new car. We will get it at the end of the year when Chris gets his bonus, we'll trade in both of our cars. He wants the Malibu, I want the Traverse. THey are NICE!!!!! I started shopping, everyone wants me to make shirts, even the picky teenage girls!! Go figure!!! So, I found some patterns, and am starting to work on it!

I wash every Monday and either Thursday or Saturday depending on my off day.

You are so right. I think the last time I had a Whopper was 2 years ago and a milkshake around Christmas when I made some eggnog milkshakes.
