Oh, I'm just sick. Dale just called me and told me a 10 yo boy was just hit by a bus at Ft Wilderness and killed. I will be praying for his family.

That is HORRIBLE.

Oh, that's terrible, Dana. I haven't heard that, but now I'm going over to google it and see what I find out. What a horrible thing to happen anytime, but especially so much more while on a family vacation.

I heard that about 30 minutes ago. They haven't said too much about it other than he was 10 and at Fort Wilderness. Orlando Sentinel is the website I read it on.

I know when we stayed at Ft Wilderness last year I made several comments about how fast some of the buses were driving down that particular stretch of road. I pray for that little girl, the little boy's family, the bus driver and for anyone on that bus at the time. It must truly have been horrific for anyone who witnessed it.

It is really sad. All of those families went to Disney to make wonderful memories and now it will be the worst memories. I feel bad for the bus driver and his/her family as well, it wasn't driver error nor negligence, there was nothing he/she could have done to prevent it.

That is such a horrible accident...I feel so sorry for everyone involved. I read about it yesterday and have been thinking about all the people that were there. Although, it was not the bus drivers fault this go round I bet some changes are about to take place around the flying busses.

It is so tragic. I know the bus driver didn't have anything to do with it, but I also know the buses at Ft Wilderness are traveling pretty fast down that stretch of road. Dale and I commented about the kids walking around on that road and how fast ALL the vehicles were going, not just the buses.

Hey guys, if you wouldn't mind please say a prayer for a little girl named Mya and her mother Shardai. Mya is a three year old dying from cancer. I have been following her story for the last few weeks. Her story is amazing and really testifies to the power of the DIS. Mya's condition is very grave at the moment and she is very uncomfortable due to the extreme pain. If you would please consider praying for this family. I'm of the thinking, the more prayers the better. They could really use some comfort and peace in the next few days.

That is so cool, Connie. I think it is neat that we were both chosen . I'm looking so forward to seeing what is inside that box. You will get yours right before ya'll leave so you have a lot going on in the next 3 weeks .

Thanks Desiree, it felt so good to pay off my vacation . I can't wait to get my BRB(big red box)and see what all is in it. I googled it and last year it had some really neat stuff in it. Leanne(leamom2princesses) received one last year. If you are a member of the Mickey's Mom Club they sent out an email a couple of weeks ago asking for people, who wanted to host a party, to write an essay. I submitted mine and then forgot about it. Yesterday I got the email that I was chosen to host a party. Lisa(mickeystoontown) and Connie( longing2batdisney) were chosen to get one too . You do have to host a party and then fill out a survey after.

It is really horrible about the little boy. It breaks my heart. I read that he was the only living child of that family. His older brother drowned. I am keeping them in my prayers.
