Yes, I don't have to leave home now . I hope you don't think any of the stuff I posted on FB was aimed at you. It was aimed at a guy(George Waltman) I went to school with. He sent me a really nasty, nasty message after the Alabama-Auburn game. Any time I get the chance to rub salt in his wounds it is a good day, thus the band wagon comment........... OK devil Dana has been put to bed .

Had Colt McCoy not been hurt the game could have totally went in the other direction. The poor boy they put out there had never played before and to have to make your first college start in the national championship game is just so unfair. He really did a great job though, and Texas has something to look foreword to in him.

Thank you Leanne. I got several bits of good news today. I get to go back to work, Aflac is FINALLY going to send me my money, I can start taking this boot off and yes of course ALABAMA IS NATIONAL CHAMPIONS.. I would not have made it through these six weeks if it were not for all of my friends and family though. You, Mary, Ginny, Becky, Christie, Lisa and Connie have been such wonderful friends and ya'll have really gone out of the way to help me through this.
The prayers being sent up for me were answered. God is amazing.

13 National Championships

Whooo hoooo!!!! What a great game--it about killed me to watch it but WOW!! They never make it easy do they?! We were so hyped up last night that it was difficult to go to sleep!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

Dale got off work early Friday and wanted to know if I wanted to go pick up a few things at Walmart? Me? Want to go somewhere? HECK YEAH!!! I jumped, if you can call it a jump, up off the couch and got a shower. When Dale got home at 3:00 I was almost ready to go.
Dale wants one of the National Championship caps. He stopped at Academy Sports to see if they had any and of course they were sold out. They had opened up last night after the game and the line was around the building at midnight. Needless to say Dale would not/could not get out in that because he had to get up at 5am for work.
Dale and I went to the mall, yep me at the mall, to check there, and guess what? Well, I guess it would be guess what, guess what? The first guess what is I WENT WITHOUT MY BOOT and I did great. The second guess what is NO HATS. We have a Bama Fever store and a Champs Sports store in the mall and they were both waiting on new shipments. Bama fever was expecting a shipment at 6pm and it was 4:30.
We walked around the mall and of course I had to go to my favorite store, yep the Disney store. They were having a really good sale on stuff, but I didn't need any Toy Story toys or stuffed animals, but I did find these two things.

I got the Tinker Bell journal for our May trip and the Mickey bag was only $.99
so I couldn't pass it up now could I? They had a lot of stuff at 40-70% off. If I had a little girl I would have spent some serious moula there because they had the princess dresses, dolls, play sets, undies........etc, etc, etc all at such GREAT prices.

Dale didn't want to wait so we left and went to Sam's Club and picked up some stuff. While we were at Sam's we ran into Dale's brother Danny and his family. We never made it to Walmart . Tomorrow we are going on the hunt for the hat again and maybe we will make it to Walmart.

That stuff is too cute, glad you got out of the house!!! That's always good when you're couped up!! We got snow flurries in the forecast here...it may or may not happen, if it does, I'm ready with my camera boy...snow in florida?? That's unheard of!! For this far south anyways!!! I'm VERY glad your ankle is doign better, and no surgery, that's awesome!!! Now you just gotta start rehabbing it, so you can walk around disney in 4 months!!! I'm booking our trip next friday. When I'm home for lunch, I'll probably be on with Disney. Either that or I'll do it when I get home, but I was wanting to go get some of those Sketchers Shape up shoes...those things are COMFY!!! Wanted to have them before Sea World. Go try those on ,they seem like they're worth the expense!! It's my birthday present to myself!! LOL So, I'll start a ptr maybe next weekend sometime...once I get booked. I got a plan, and my friend doesn't care....she says she's along for the ride....no pun intended!! HAHA She's an awesome person, and the best friend anyone could have, I'm SOOOOO blessed to be able to do this for her. I have an agressive savings plan, and paying this trip off plan, that could give us just the best trip ever. And, if I keep it up, I could have my pool for my birthday next year!!! I love Chris being a Chief!!! Now that Christmas is over, the pay is really starting to pay off!!! Anyways...I'm rambling again, ya'll stay warm up there...I'm cleaning INSIDE today!! Got LOTS of people coming over for my birthday next weekend. UG....36!!! Ah well....party hearty, right??? I'll take pictures of course!!

We drove over to Spanish Fort and went to the Spanish Fort Center to the Bama Fever there and they said they expected to get some in next week. It was nice to get out of the house . It was much nicer to go to the Disney store . When Dallas was little we stayed at the Disney store buying him clothes, toys, stuffed animals, you name it. I will be able to put all of my trip planning and trip report in the note book and have room for a couple more trips.
Snow? There? WOW, I thought we had global warming . If it started raining here it would be sleet because it is sooooooooo cold. It is going to be 22 here tonight and 16 tomorrow night. We are NOT use to that here. I am going to collect up some old blankets and towels and take them to the animal shelter and some nicer stuff we don't use and take it to the waterfront mission. It breaks my heart to think there are people out there tonight who don't have a warm place to be . Our missions here in Mobile have been to capacity for the past week or two.
Let me know how the Sketchers work out. My birthday is coming up in March and I was thinking about asking for a pair. I hope you have a great birthday!!!!!!!
I can't wait till you start your PTR. I know you are uber exciter about staying in the tree houses. I know I would be.

This is the elusive hat we have been on the hunt for, so today, after searching all day, I ordered one online.

Yea, I'm super excited about staying there...my friend is happy too, talked to her on skype yesterday, and she had the reaction I thought my mom would have, the rolling of the eyes, and the "i'm gonna kill you when I see you in person" look LOL but, she's done SOOOOO much to help us out in the past, and she's the type that requests and expects nothing in return, just all around sweet southern girl....sound like someone else?? HMMMM....YOU!!! HAHAHA She's from Mississippi, so yea, alot like you!! Anyways, I told her the plan, and she's down with it. The kids are excited, and we'll just have fun!!! Her little 7 year old will probably be attached to my hip....he's always called me Kiki, ever since he started talking!! So, I told her I can have her accompanying me on my arm, Haden at my hip, and a big ol smile on my face!!! HAHA Yea, I can't wait!! I'll let you know how those shoes are, we tried a pair on last weekend, and they're really neat!!! They put your weight on the center of your feet, not the heel and ball of your feet. And super squishy. They're supposed to be lower impact on your joints...knees...ankle....AHEM!! Hint hint!! And help align your lower back. They felt good for the few minutes I had them on, so I'll go get those friday night sometime, and start on the treadmill with them to break them in. If they're comfy enough, I'll wear them to sea world sunday. And, I'll let you know how it goes!!! The birthday...yea, some of the family and co-workers are coming over for lasagna. One of my brothers is a baker for publix, and my stepmom is gonna have him make my cake!! I'm scared. Anyways, making lasagna, and gonna hook up the rock band like we did at christmas. That was fun!!! I had the WHOLE living room full of family singing the Gambler by Kenny Rogers!!!! I was ROLLING!!!! Anyways, gotta go order more floss for my mickey cross stitch, the dog ate most of it!!! So......a ordering we will go!!! LOL Stay warm!

I'm wondering when Dale's hat will ship because it said special orders wouldn't be shipped until Jan. 22nd. I don't see the hat as a special order because they don't have to do anything special to the hat and I know they have them made already.
That is so sweet of you Christie, YOU are the one that goes out of their way for others, I mean just look at what you are doing for your friend . I know she is excited about the trip. Staying in the tree houses would be so much fun.
I can't wait to hear how the shoes go. I agree, if they are good on your ankles they would be great for me . I haven't seen them in the stores yet, but then again I haven't looked.

Yeah, I'm glad I was able to order it online. Dale is like a kid that doesn't get something he wants, he pouts, and gets mad...etc,etc. Just like a kid. I was planning on going back to the Disney Store Tuesday, but it looks like my plans will be altered.
You will have to post pix of what you bought. I honestly don't know what I am gonna do with the Mickey bag .

At 6:30 this morning my phone rang and it was my sister Wanda. I have mentioned in the past that my Mom and she share an apartment. Well, Wanda calls me and asks me if I can come over because Mama can't move? I told her to call 911. I threw on some clothes and raced to their apartment. When I got there Mama was half on and half off her bed so Wanda and I got her pulled back up in the bed. It looked as if my mom had had a stroke because she was weak, the left side of her face was drooping and she was slurring her words. I had the presence of mind to grab my blood pressure cuff on the way out the door. Her blood pressure was fine and she wasn't confused, she could smile and her grips were equal bilaterally. Soon after I arrived the paramedics arrived and took her to the hospital. Turned out to be her congestive heart failure. She had excess fluids and it was causing her to have an electrolyte imbalance, thus the slurring, weakness and difficulty moving. They admitted her to the hospital and she is going to be given IV antibiotics and lasix to pull the fluids off her lungs and from around her heart so she should be OK. Please add my mom to your prayers, she is 86 years old so her health isn't the greatest in the world anyway.

sorry to hear about your mom; she is in our prayers! Glad to hear it was not a stroke and she will be OK soon. Great finds at the disney store...now I really wish I had talked Danny into going to the mall thrusday when we were out there or Friday afternoon when we went to MS. Hope the hat comes in soon!
