we saw a LOT of leggings in Vancouver in Nov. I don't mind them with boots and a long sweater on the right body type or as workout wear but.... other than that they should be banned.

You are a great uncle. 4 nuggets????????????

thank heavens for cookies

sounds like me and starting to save for 2012...something pressing always comes up....:confused3[/QUOTE

Our riding lawnmower is on its' last leg-or wheel I should say! We have 10 acres at home and 1 at the restaurant so it is necessary for a new one or a used one this summer. So, I know what you mean about digging into any saved up money.
I don't know if this will be of any help to anyone or not:
I have more taxes taken out of my pay than needed so that in the Spring I get back a larger return. I like it because I do not notice it every pay, and it adds up. On the other hand I am letting the Government use my money all year and trust that they will continue to return it to me when I file! Another way to save without it hurting too badly is to have a certain amount of your pay directly deposited to an interest earning account-kinda like a Christmas fund. Sorry for the banking lesson-I was an accountant major in college.

Reminds me of the episode on Friends where Ross wears leather pants!! :rotfl: He sweat so much he couldn't get them back on after going into the bathroom. He first tried lotion and then powder! I think he said it made a paste.

Oh, I remember that episode! I love Friends. I actually had a professor that reminded me a LOT of Ross! I swear, I felt like I was watching Ross lecture. He had the same type of voice and looked almost exactly like him.

Again, gone for a night, and need to catch up on 5 pages. But yay, an update!

Ashie is just one of the CUTEST BABIES EVER :lovestruc
That game you played with them sounds like a lot of fun! I think I'll try that next time I have to babysit my baby cousins

Back before I had my son, back before I met my husband. Back when I was a somewhat reblious early 20-something gal, I actually rode a ride at our local theme park called Sidewinder about 7 or 8 times in a row (it was late and the park was emptying out, so there was no line for it...the ride operators let us stay on and just kept sending us again and again). It was a single loop rollercoaster type ride. You went forward through the loop, then came backwards through it. I'm pretty sure I couldn't stomach that many times at once now.

This deserves a :worship: too!

oh you guys were brave that night to do MK EMH....it was soo cold out that night. We decided it was not worth it since the boys were soo little and really needed bed anyways! BUT i sooo wanted to go!! I was so dissapointed we missed both MK EMH's because the morning one was too cold too and I was sick by then!

While Rockin the Hockey Night in Canada tee. :thumbsup2

I admit I lead a sheltered life and had to google it. Makes me very thankful for said "sheltered life.
We have kiddos the same age and gender. :goodvibes How are you faring with the idea of your first baby's graduating?

DH and I loved being the cool aunt and uncle before we had kids. We also got to practice on them while we waited for our own kids to come along. We sometimes wondered why our siblings thought it was so hard to be a parent. :rotfl2:

Your so close now!!! :yay: Are things starting to get crazy yet? I'm so excited for you all! :goodvibes

Michael Phelps just hired a hitman to take you out...He's insulted...;)

:rotfl2: I actually laughed out loud when I read this.....this is much like the folley that use to go on, on FB. At least with my group any way.

Memorable for sure...

I always get to be that cool uncle although when they become teens, I'm sure I'll just be another adult...:sad1:

Nope! You'll still be the cool uncle. :goodvibes

I was wondering who would catch that!

I caught it! :thumbsup2 Very cute. I've actually heard stories of people saying this happened. One couple who feed the homeless and worked with the homeless, allowed the homeless to come to their wedding reception. More people showed than they thought would since it wasn't by an official invite, and there was more than enough food to go around for everyone and then some. There was no other way this would have happened since they knew how much food they ordered. :goodvibesl

I am glad I am not a parent...I'd be a basket case.

I use to say the same thing. It's totally different with your own kiddos, I promise.

I use cleaning as therapy....oooo a dyson.

 To see a man oooo and aaaah over a household cleaning appliance. To cute.

I have a dyson and I love it. It is so easy to take apart and clean, and it is amazing how much dirt it picks up! Mine is 5 years old and worth every penny.

Very good to know. :thumbsup2

Good episode. I bet that class wasn't missed much by the girls. He's a cutie.

My husband has more taken out as well...and we get back at least $2000 every year. It just depends on how much he makes and how all our other stuff (ie student loan interest, 401k earnings, etc) affects it.

HSN and QVC!!!!!! I bought my Dyson from HSN last year and made payments.....I am FAR to cheap to pay one lump sum!!!!!!!

I plan on paying cash for my Dyson...when I get it. :P And my netbook...when I get it...and my husbands new laptop...when we get it. I'm tired of using a CC or moving the money from the CC to our checking account and feeling like I'm paying out the rear for it.

However, QVC/HSN is another option I hadn't thought about. Hmmmm...

This deserves a :worship: too!
Lol. Thanks. :P

We decided to ride Mission: Space. Wendy loves this ride. In 08? she spent a few hours on her own and rode M: S 6? 7? times IN A ROW!!!!!! One order of scrambled brains coming right up!:scared1: That's what i call intestinal fortitude!

 holy moly! we rode it in '07 and i liked it but 1 time on the orange side is enough for me for a day. i'm impessed, wendy.

The CMs were all very nice. The CM at the register was flirting with me I think...:confused3 It was a HE. I was flattered, but didn't flirt back.

at least you were flattered.

The kids and I played this game where we all reacted to the "remote control", Dylan. If he said fast forward, we all started moving really fast. If he said slow motion we would all go realllly slow. He would say pause and we'd freeze. We did this for awhile and laughed alot. Erin and he would go back and forth...it was cool and a total uncle moment for me. It's one of those moments where I knew what it felt like to be a parent and the love you feel for your kids.

this is so sweet! :goodvibes

That take school pride to a new level....:rolleyes1
I think it might have been a dare. The way he was avoiding me and all...:rolleyes1

So a little off topic, but today I was at the courthouse (yes, I'm STILL on jury duty) and I seriously saw someone in high heels, ribbed V neck sweater (only waist long), pearls, AND LEGGINGS!!!!!!! I seriously think she thought she looked good! I sooooooo needed a camera.

They weren't just tight pants, they were LEGGINGS!!!!!!! What is this world coming to?!?!?!? :confused3

:scared1::scared1::scared1: I second that !

Morning Everyone!! Escaping my neighboring country's revolution with hanging out with you... sheesh!! :sad2:
:scared1::scared1::scared1: As well !

Well, that's a relief! I'm not sure how many more "heavy" bums in stretch pants I could have taken.

Moving on.... Update? Did you say "update"?? "Abracadabra, Let 'er rip!" :genie:

now you know better than to say that!!!

Stilll catching up ... Darn work getting in the way.
